Onward and upward…

Onward and upward…

On October 1, I had both my last day at Microsoft and my first day as a free agent. I loved every second I was with Microsoft and I’m truly thankful to Dr. Marianne Janik , Bertrand Launay and Catrin Hinkel and the whole team for our joint transformation and innovation journey and the huge customer and business impacts resulting from that work.

The last 3.5 years at Microsoft were a great learning opportunity after 18 years at Cisco to experience differences and similarities of two iconic tech companies and expand my horizon further into software, the cloud and the startup.

But now I’m very excited to explore new ventures, before committing to my next permanent role.

Having done sales, partner sales, digital sales strategy, sales operation and bus dev on the selling side and large scale global digital transformation projects, which included buying decision of supporting tools and software as customer, gives me a 360-degree view into the tech space.

I will start with writing a series of blog posts on partner sales & channel partnering in the tech industry.

For quite a while, I’m entertaining the idea to write a book about people leadership lessons life taught me. I have a decent sense to see through political constellations and pick up on the real stakeholder issues. And I do have an entertaining way of telling those stories. Most business books I read cover to cover do have a humorous element to it.

Then, Jean-Philippe Maurrasse , my podcast cohost from the Digitizer and I explore to launch a new podcast project after our successful “The Digitizer” podcast series.

And finally, I’m up for hire: In my next role, I want to enable my customers to digitize and transform their critical business processes.  During my professional journey, I have accumulated expertise in all aspects of digital transformation from analysis to strategy, to selling to successful implementation. This allows me to comprehend and truly empathize with the challenges my customers and partner face and enables me to pragmatically design digital solutions with high impact and short runway to success.

Let’s connect …
