New plans for Meeting C++ 2025
This newsletter contains a few exciting plans for this years Meeting C++ conference, which I'll also add to the website one by one.
But I thought its best to let you know our plans now! But all plans add cost to a budget, which is made possible by ticket sales and sponsorships this year. Come to Berlin and join us for 3 days full of C++!
Lets start with something that is already (partly) visible: a first set of trainings for Meeting C++ 2025. Like last year these are online trainings which are happening after the conference. This first set is:
And there is a set of 3 trainings which isn't ready yet.

A new onsite track
I think there is still some space in the schedule. So I want to make the onsite part of the conference even better, and will add a 4th Track to this years conference. This is made possible by our sponsors, which then also will provide some of the talks that fill this new track. I'm not sure when we will make the new track visible, I do want to be able to announce this soon. All this comes with some changes to the conference layout. To make this happen this year we'll host tracks in Amethyst and Bernstein. I'm not sure what happens to the lounge, I do also consider streaming the online track into the onsite conference in an extra room.
Planning a survey for onsite attendees
While the voting provides us with great judgement which talks should be accepted, this does not map well to the onsite audience. So I plan to do a survey with those that have onsite tickets, which talks they plan to go to. This then allows to move some talks to accomondate more folks.
An onsite job fair
In spring I've added a Meeting C++ Jobs Newsletter to the offering of Meeting C++ recruiting. This years conference also offers space for an onsite job fair, plus I plan to offer a job fair online at the beginning of October. For this I'm right now mostly looking for employers interested in attending these, to discuss the format. So please reach out if that is interesting to you or your employer.
