Logic and compassion - general reflections.

PART I

Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?" - Luke 5:22

Our thoughts ultimately determine our actions, which is why the world revolves around ideas that seek to manipulate human thinking and lead to alignment. Companies are not necessarily valuable because they create real value for the human race. More often than not, the key to their success lies in their ability to hack human thinking. You are drawn to that new version of "Product X" not because it actually holds significant additional value but simply because you think, or rather have been made to think, it does. The changes, technologically speaking, are generally not directly proportional to the value of financial investment. That is a costly illusion.

How can society reclaim its ability to think logically and express true compassion in the midst of world war ideas (WWi)?

First, let's consider ideas and logic in general.

  • What is the relationship between ideas and logic?
  • How do ideas influence our thinking and behavior?
  • What are the characteristics of logical thinking?

Second, think about your thoughts. Where did they come from? Are they logically sound? Do they reflect common sense?

  • How are our thoughts shaped by our experiences, beliefs, and values?
  • What factors can influence the accuracy and validity of our thoughts?
  • How can we evaluate the logical soundness of our own thinking?

Third, why compassion?

  • What is the role of compassion in human society as relates to WWi?
  • How can compassion contribute to a more just and equitable world?
  • What are the challenges and obstacles to cultivating compassion?

Putting everything together, it's important to remember that despite the raging battle for your mind, you have not been exonerated from thinking correctly.

Why then do you think the things in your heart?

  • How are our emotions and beliefs connected?
  • Can our emotions sometimes cloud our judgment?
  • How can we balance our emotions with rational thinking?

Someone said...

  • Does not exonerate you from thinking, testing, examining and questioning.

Someone claimed...

  • Does not exonerate you from thinking, testing, examining and questioning.

Someone demonstrated...

  • Does not exonerate you from thinking, testing, examining and questioning.

Thinking soundly and clearly will lift you above the din of WWi and position you in a place of leadership.

If compassion is the ultimate goal of conclusions made after honest research, we need to unpack the word to ensure we are indeed playing on an even field. Equitability must not disenfranchise.
