Let's Rob the Grave

Dear you,

“There is no passion to be found playing small, in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.”

— Nelson Mandela

This powerful quote has boldly and in quiet days reminded me that comfort is not the same as fulfillment.

I have found myself grieving with a neighbourhood that has experienced loss of a deep kind and all these spiralled into this special letter to you.

Two years ago I was:

⚪Shrinking myself to fit into spaces that require silence instead of growth

⚪Settling for ‘safe’ careers, relationships, and routines that don’t really inspire me.

⚪Hiding my dreams in the shadows of fear, doubt, or societal expectations

But:

Passion thrives in challenge.

Purpose is discovered in pursuit.

Growth only happens when we stretch beyond what is comfortable.

Choosing to “play small” might seem wise in the short term, it may even give you this brief fulfilment in the short term. But over time, it:

🔻Suffocates your potential

🔻Silences your uniqueness

🔻Leaves you wondering, “What if?”

In this season that I have chosen to grow in different areas of my life, I have found that each of us carries a light within us.

A light that's meant to shine.

No one is empty of that light and to honor that light means:

Daring to dream boldly

Taking risks that scare and excite you

Refusing to settle for less than your best life

You owe it to yourself, and to the world, to stop playing small.

So today,

Be bold.

Be brave.

The grave is no place for dreams, let’s spend them all while we’re alive.

Step fully into the life you’re meant to live. Let's live a fulfilling life one day at a time.

Cheers to a fulfilling life.

Love, Light and Life

Sincerely,

From
