How do you share Reality?
In our most recent Subconscious Code Breaker meeting, we discussed our understanding and definition of reality. It was insightful as we shared our backgrounds, upbringings, and education on the subject. Some of us shared that we were programmed from the start of our lives (as most people are). Others shared their Eureka moment when, as an adult, they awakened to how they were fulfilling the realities of others rather than themselves. Some were fortunate enough to experience this earlier than others. There was no competition, just encouragement the event had happened. All agreed true freedom and agency were realized when we took time to do the work for ourselves, resulting in creating the realities we claimed for our futures.
Future Reality Decisions
Choose Carefully Who You Invite to Share Your Reality
Along the road of life, most people stumble into their version of life and reality. This can be primary, secondary, undergraduate, or graduate school. This can be our first job as we begin to test our independence and decide who we are. One thing is for certain; there will be the “thin threads” of relationships that will start to weave the reality fabric of our lives. The next network meeting you attend, ask yourself, “How did I end up in the meeting?” Perhaps a friend, trusted business colleague, or just an advertisement on social media. Then ask the person who invited you how they connected. Keep connecting the dots and you will be amazed at the “random” way the universe delivers.
I share the above to advise you to take care when inviting others to be a part of your reality. Is that person someone you have a relationship with, or are they part of a transaction? Are you getting to know people before you introduce them to your valued and trusted advisors? Are they open to exploring a different reality, one you can introduce them to? If not, tread carefully and seek more information before moving forward.
Be Aware of Those Who Seek to Impose Their Reality
When I talk to clients about situations that went sideways or blew up, most of the time it comes down to competing realities. They were charmed by the psychopath who smooth-talked their way into the company. They wanted the reality from the marketing company who promised them the moon, all the while dismissing the reality of the client. When you’ve been in business, over time you (or someone you know) has experienced these horror stories. This can even push down into our personal lives. This is outside the scope of this post. 😎
➠ 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬:
- Take a pause - review the situation with another trusted advisor for clarity
- Use critical-thinking skills - ask yourself, “How would I know if this wasn’t true?”
- Do your due diligence - before committing time and/or money, research the company, the officers, the board of directors, the internet (including social media)
As always, you can reach out when you believe I can help you.

A very powerful article 🧐Dan Goodwin, CYA Consulting - 🔎👀 how we allow those around us, society and media, to shape the reality we allow to happen for us instead of creating the reality we choose, we want to experience with those we value and are there to truly support us in living out our reality
