EXCEL TIP: Get more statistics!

DID YOU KNOW that when you have a range of numeric values highlighted in Excel, that you can see some useful summary statistics in the Status Bar?

This is helpful when you quickly need to see totals, the number of items in the list (count) or maybe averages without using a formula. To turn these on or select more statistics:

  • Right-click on the Status Bar
  • Select or de-select an item from the list
