Share this message with all of your friends and especially those seeking work: advise them to put their email address and cell phone in their LinkedIn public profile! Ninety-nine percent of all Recruiters use LinkedIn to source candidates. People who are unemployed need to make it as easy as possible for Recruiters to connect with them. And, they can always delete their email and cell once they are employed again. Good day!
...but be prepared for a mountain of spam emails and nuisance phone calls. I have an email address +/- dedicated to Linkedin so 99% certain that's where the spam comes from.
Good grief, I cannot believe "job seekers" would not put mobile numbers and email addresses on a social media platform designed to connect with recruiters and access job opportunities.
William- do you suggest to add our mobile and email in our main headline. Mine is in my contact info and summary. I understood that LinkedIn didn't allow for emails to be part of the headline, correct?
Yes!! And have their phone number after their name in regular email. Will improve response dramatically.
