Day 31 - March 27, 2020
Matthew 7:1-2 Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
First impression. The glance. That moment of interaction arrived. Can you remember where you were? Your surroundings. Was it darkness of night. Clarity of day? Everyone has been there. The moment of judgmentalness. Moment of hesitation. Moment of uncertainty. Was it long hair? Filthy cloths? Life’s scars of wear and tear? Tattoos of being unique? Possibly the smell? Whatever it was. It was hurtful. Being judgmental will always miss the true inner-core of life.
Our living God has instilled within the heart a need of loving acceptance. Our Lord Jesus has instilled within the mind a need of loving forgiveness. The Holy Spirit has instilled within the soul a need of loving acceptance. All requiring awareness. Disciples of Christ Jesus we engage love, live forgiveness, facilitate acceptance. We live among broken lives scared on the outside by the ways of this world. But. Alive internally. Alive within the inner-core of the loving heart. Alive within the thriving mind. Alive within the everlasting soul. Real people living real life needing love of non-judgmentalness. Needing love of acceptance. Needing love of compassion. Needing love of forgiveness. Just needing love in uniqueness within their everyday life. So, disciples of Christ Jesus. How are we loving? Forgiving? Accepting? Godly or ungodly.
The inner-core of our life was forever changed from darkness to light. It was a moment within Christ Jesus. Our sinful life was cleansed, redeemed, restored. It was God’s powerful undeserved grace breathing new life into our life’s brokenness. Our heart has loving acceptance. Our mind has loving truthfulness. Our soul has loving everlasting life in heaven. We are uniquely created within Christ Jesus. Yes. We make mistakes. Wrong impressions. Wrong glances. Wrong interactions. We are sinful. We will never be perfect. But. We can look beyond surroundings. We can look with clarity. We can look non-judgmentally. Godly faith lives beyond outward appearances. We can look with loving non-judgmental eyes within our living God. We can look with loving compassionate forgiveness within Christ Jesus. We can look with loving awareness of interaction within the Holy Spirit. So, disciples of Christ Jesus. Look around. Look deep into the inner-core of real people living real life among a world of extreme brokenness. Look into hearts, minds, souls feeling what they live. Remember. A lot happens within a moment. Within a glance. First impressions. So, within this day look around being non-judgmental. Be bold with love. Courageous with forgiveness. Fearless with Godly faith. Live discipleship. Live life at its very best non-judgmentally within God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit – Amen …
