Accretionary Intelligence

The egg that exploded in the big bang 12-14 billion years ago contained ALL the "matter" that we see today in the universe. This egg was not massive but just a few millimetres across (Source: National Geographic). Today when we study matter at sub atomic levels, scientists realize that 99.9999999999996% is empty space! Put another way, if a hydrogen atom were the size of the earth, the proton at its center would be about 200 meters (600 feet) across (source: Internet)

Energy can neither be created nor destroyed; rather, it can only be transformed or transferred from one form to another.

At its basest of forms, energy is space. Poetically put, matter is nothing but crystallized space. The building blocks of matter namely the quarks are but different expressions of spatial vibration. When assembled together in different permutations and combinations we have the building blocks of matter namely atoms. Each atom built of exactly the same protons neutrons and electrons behave so very differently. Oxygen with 8 protons, 8 neutrons and 8 electrons, we breathe, but Fluorine with 9 protons, 10 neutrons and 9 electrons will poison and kill us! Carbon with 6 protons, 6 neutrons and 6 electrons is a solid!

When the same elements get together to create compounds, they behave so differently as well. Hydrogen and Oxygen together can be life giving water and can also be Hydrogen Peroxide (with just an extra atom of Oxygen), a POISON if consumed in pure form.

The same space that is crystallizing in various forms behave so very differently at different levels of accretion. The nature of what are essentially the same building blocks, behave very differently when arranged differently. This is what I see as "Accretionary Intelligence". At different levels of accretion, the same essential building blocks, show very different behaviors. Even in human society, this is the case. We behave so differently as individuals and very differently as groups!

The same stuff arranged in DNA makes the difference between humans and animals. We differ from chimps by a minuscule 1.2% but see the impact on the planet this difference has made.

Accretionary Intelligence is THE thing to know. To mull about. 🙏🙏🙏
