The first Zara store opened its doors on May 9, 1975, on Calle Juan Flórez in A Coruña. Fifty years later, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of this store and our brand with a tribute to the place where it all began. The iconic galleries of A Coruña, which are part of the city’s architectural DNA, now become the centerpiece of this "new store"—a temporary installation created in honor of the anniversary. The charm and playful character of the design, along with the imaginative use of scale, will surprise visitors, who will also have access to a café and a boutique lounge where they can browse shelves filled with a wide collection of magazines published from May 1975 to the present day—an opportunity to rediscover 50 years of fashion, art, and culture. On this anniversary, the Juan Flórez store becomes not only a celebration of the brand, but also of the architecture and history of the city.
Hello, I had a very disappointing experience at your Zara Akasya, Istanbul] store yesterday (6pm) I found a pair of boots I liked online and saw they were in stock, so I drove for 1 hour in heavy traffic to get to the store. I was told the item was in the warehouse and had to wait 30 minutes, which I accepted. When I received the message that the product had arrived, I was told to go to the pick-up point. However, when I got there, the pick-up area was completely empty — no staff, no counter, no one in charge. I asked a sales assistant, and they said, “someone will come soon.” After waiting another 20 minutes, I was told that the product had been brought out from the warehouse and left at the pick-up point — but another customer had taken it. This system makes no sense. The item was left unattended, no staff was present, and customers were not called or informed when their product arrived. If the product wasn’t going to be properly handed over, why was I asked to wait 30 minutes? I wasted an hour on the road, extra fuel, and all that time in the store for nothing. It was a complete waste of time and a major disappointment. Please review this situation and provide feedback. Thank you, Esra Ates
Dear Team Zara, Mr. Avinash Gupta, who introduced himself as the Creative Head of Zara Kids India, has offered me an internship opportunity where I am required to collect candidates’ (kids) details and share the same with him for an upcoming fashion week. He also mentioned that there are fashion shows scheduled on 19th October in Chennai. Along with this, he has provided me the following details: Website: www.zarakids.in Email: info@zarakids.in Upon doing some research, I strongly feel that this website and email ID may be fake. However, I still want to seek official confirmation from Zara before drawing any conclusion. Kindly let me know at the earliest whether these details are authentic and officially associated with Zara Kids India. Thank you for your assistance. ZARA
A lot of nice comments and hearts on this platform. How about your ZARA Care on Instagram or Facebook? I have NEVER seen anything like it, thousands and thousands of angry customers waiting for your reply. You have a HUGE problem and no one takes responsibility? Is the management totally blind? 🤦🏻♂️ And also, yes I have been waiting for a refund for over 4 months..
Great initiative! At FCA Group, we handle national and international freight . Happy to support if logistics is ever needed.
It is inspiring to see how Zara celebrates its 50th anniversary by honoring the place where it all began. The combination of architecture, history, fashion, and culture makes this initiative much more than a brand celebration. Without a doubt, it is a very special way to connect A Coruña’s legacy with the evolution of fashion over the past five decades.
Women's Earth Alliance is honored to be part of this incredible milestone and celebration. Congratulations to the Zara team on 50 years of innovation, creativity, and global impact. It’s inspiring to see how this anniversary pays tribute not only to fashion, but also to the culture, history, and architecture of A Coruña — the place where it all began. 🌍✨
A milestone that connects both brand history and local culture. The installation feels like a bridge between past and present. nice way to honor where it all started. ❤️
Nota 0 pra ZARA , UM HORROR ESSA LOJA Q ENGANA CONSUMIDOR, FALTA DE RESPEITO , ÉTICA. COLOCAR ETIQUETAS COM PREÇO MAIOR DO Q O VALOR ORIGINAL DA ETIQUETA. ENGANAÇÃO. QDO FOREM A LOJA SHOPPINGS PRESTEM ATENÇÃO QDO TIVER UMA ETIQUETA COLADA .
Extremely disappointing experience with ZARA and Delhivery I had ordered a product from Zara, and to get it delivered, I had to personally follow up because the Delhivery team kept giving excuses. The delivery executive was highly arrogan. The product was finally delivered only after I raised the issue on social media. Now, I’ve requested a return through the Zara app on 1st October, and even after so many days, no one has come for the pick-up. It’s quite shocking that once again, I might have to post publicly for a basic service to be completed. There seems to be a continuous issue with both delivery and return services handled by Delhivery for Zara. This is absolutely shameful and reflects poorly on both brands. I strongly recommend Zara to reconsider its delivery partner, as Delhivery clearly fails to perform its duties efficiently. Kindly arrange the return pick-up immediately. I have never faced such a shocking experience with H&M; their delivery and return process has always been smooth and hassle-free in comparison.
