Choosing the right stream after Grade 10 is not just an academic decision — it’s a life-shaping milestone. It was a privilege to conduct the Stream Selection & Career Guidance Session at *American Montessori Public School, Gurgaon*, where we engaged with students and parents to bring clarity, confidence, and direction to their future. In today’s rapidly evolving world, career planning goes far beyond choosing Science, Commerce, or Humanities. It requires: ✔ Understanding individual strengths, interests, and aptitude ✔ Building a strong academic and extracurricular profile ✔ Awareness of emerging and future-ready careers ✔ Strategic planning for admissions in India and abroad During the workshop, we focused on: 🔹 *Stream Selection based on Psychometric Insights* 🔹 *Career Roadmap for the Next 5 Years* 🔹 *Profile Building for Top Universities* 🔹 *Guidance on Admissions – India & International Pathways* 🔹 *Parent-Student Alignment for Better Decision Making* The goal is simple — not just to choose a stream, but to *design a future with clarity and purpose*. A big thank you to the school management for the opportunity and to the students for their enthusiasm and curiosity. #careerguidance #streamselection #profilebuilding #studyabroad #educationmatters #futureready #careercounselling #admissions #studentsuccess

Have you ever wondered why so many brilliant Indian students still get rejected by Ivy League universities? 🎓 For years, I have met students with near perfect grades, exceptional SAT scores, and impressive Olympiad achievements who believed these would be enough to secure admission to the world’s top universities. Yet many of them received rejection letters. That question inspired my recent article in Hindustan Times, where I discuss a reality that often surprises students and parents. Many outstanding applicants are not rejected because they lack talent. They are rejected because their profiles look very similar. Every year, thousands of high achieving students apply to Ivy League universities with excellent academic records. In 2024 alone, more than 50,000 international students applied, yet fewer than 3 to 4 percent were admitted. This is why admissions committees today are looking beyond grades and test scores. What truly makes a student stand out now is curiosity, initiative, and real world impact. I have seen students create that edge by doing something meaningful. A teenager building an AI solution to improve accessibility. A student researching behavioral economics and publishing insights. A young founder working on climate, healthcare, or education challenges. These experiences show something deeper than academic excellence. They demonstrate originality, courage, and the ability to think independently. That is the core idea I explore in this article. Academic excellence is important, but today it is only the starting point. The real advantage comes from building a distinctive profile that reflects who you truly are. Through this article in Hindustan Times, I wanted to encourage students, parents, and educators to think differently about what truly matters in global university admissions. To me, career counselling has always been about helping students discover their individuality and present it with confidence. So let me ask you this. Do you think our education system encourages students to stand out, or does it still push them to follow the same path? #JitinChawla #CareerCounselling #StudyAbroad #IvyLeague #GlobalEducation #HindustanTimes Jitin Chawla | Hindustan Times | Sejal Chadha

Uncomfortable truth: In Tier-2 and Tier-3 regions, our education system is optimized for placements, not capabilities. Most institutions proudly showcase: • Placement statistics • Admission numbers • Exam scores These indicators look impressive on paper. But they rarely answer a more important question: Do students actually understand careers, industries, and how economic value is created? From an industry perspective, what students truly need today is career intelligence: • Understanding how industries work • Exposure to real-world problems • The ability to create value — not just seek jobs Yet career exploration and entrepreneurial thinking remain peripheral in most institutions. The shift required is not just curriculum change — it is priority change. We need to move from degree collection → capability creation. Institutions must integrate: 💡 Industry mentorship 🛠️ Problem-based learning 🚀 Entrepreneurial exploration Because the real goal of education should not be only to produce employees. It should be to develop problem solvers, innovators, and future founders. The real question is: How do we make this shift practical for students today? Let’s discuss. ⬇️ #EducationInnovation #StartupIndia #SkillsOverDegrees #FutureReady #ProblemBasedLearning #CareerIntelligence #IndustryMentorship #Entrepreneurship

This perspective highlights a critical reality in our education ecosystem — especially across Tier-2 and Tier-3 regions. At SenterSoft Technologies, while working with students, interns, and early-career professionals, we consistently observe a gap between academic performance and real-world capability readiness. Many students are trained to succeed in exams and placements, but very few are systematically exposed to: • How industries actually operate • How real problems are defined and solved • How skills translate into economic value creation This is exactly why initiatives like industry mentorship, problem-based learning, and entrepreneurial exploration are essential. At SenterSoft, our focus through internships, mentorship programs, and startup ecosystem engagement is to help young professionals build career intelligence, practical problem-solving ability, and industry exposure early in their journey. Because the future workforce will not be defined only by degrees — it will be defined by capability, adaptability, and the ability to create value. A very important discussion for educators, founders, and ecosystem builders. #SenterSoft #CareerIntelligence #StartupEcosystem #FutureOfEducation #ProblemBasedLearning

“Sir, how do I know which career is right for me?” A Class 9 student asked me this question today during my session at Rishikul World Academy. The hall had students and parents sitting together, listening carefully. I asked the audience a simple question:- “How many of you know more than 100 career options?” Only 2–3 hands went up. But the reality is shocking. Today there are 3000+ career options, 90,000+ courses, and thousands of universities in India and abroad. Yet most students still choose their stream based on only three options: Science Commerce Arts And sometimes even those are chosen based on: • Marks • Friends’ decisions • Family pressure • Social perception But career decisions should never be made like this. Every child is unique. Some have analytical intelligence, Some have creative intelligence, Some have leadership intelligence, Some have people intelligence. When students understand their interest, aptitude, personality and natural abilities, career clarity becomes easy. That is exactly why platforms like FeeduCareer Foundation are working to ensure that no student chooses a career blindly. Because the right career decision at the right age can change an entire life. Grateful to the leadership and faculty of Rishikul World Academy for giving me the opportunity to interact with such curious young minds and supportive parents. The future of our nation is sitting in these classrooms. And they deserve clarity, confidence and the right direction. Dr. Amit Bhartiya Founder & Director, FeeduCareer Foundation If you are a parent of a Class 8–12 student, comment “CAREER” and I will share a simple framework to help your child choose the right path. #CareerGuidance #StudentSuccess #FutureOfEducation #CareerCounselling #FeeduCareerFoundation #DrAmitBhartiya #EducationLeadership #StudentMotivation #rishikulworldacademy
