The start of spring will be a busy one for the vitagroup team, with several events across Europe on our calendar. Healthcare Business International 23 March – 25 March, Paris The conference will address a number of topics shaping healthcare systems and services, including demographic change, prevention strategies, and investment dynamics across markets such as DACH. It will be interesting to hear how healthcare organisations and investors are responding to these trends. Let’s move data, not patients: HPI #DigitalHealth Innovation Forum 2026 has officially kicked off “Boy, we have enough to do in healthcare.“ With these words, host Prof. Ariel Dora Stern opened the forum – setting the tone for two days of open, international exchange. From healthcare and policy to business, research and society, the diversity of speakers and participants makes one thing clear: meaningful progress in digital health requires collaboration across disciplines and borders. Prof. Lothar H. Wieler, Chair of Digital Health at HPI and co-host of the forum, emphasized the importance of strong global partnerships including collaborations with Mount Sinai Health System, Data4Life and the University of Cape Town. Across panels, a recurring message emerged:  Cut bureaucracy. Support small, innovative startups. Empower the next generation of healthcare talent. The ideas are there. The expertise is there. Excited to host a workshop at the Digital Health Innovation Forum today. Together with Flavia Bleuel and Andrea Rhinow (geb. Scheer) we’ll redesign patient experiences in a world of unlimited information. Where do patients place their trust to find guidance and ultimately healing in their most vulnerable moments? Humans get sick, technology doesn’t. Humans experience pain and hope, AI doesn’t. We’ll explore where that is an opportunity and where patients “still” benefit from human medical care and craft.
