I'd say the number one mistake that people make is probably just not knowing the costs and not knowing their margins. Having a really strong brand is super important to selling a product. Yes, you can have an Amazon store, you can have a TikTok store, but you can't guarantee that they're going to be there next year. Build on your own land, which is Shopify. You own it, you build your own e-mail lists. You should be focused on owning that customer relationship, really focusing on what the customer. Is thinking about when they go looking for something like what you're selling. The cost of entering different channels today is at its lowest point than it's ever been. And the easiest way to find out what works and what doesn't is simply to try. One thing I love about Amazon is the fact that you can be a smaller player. I can really compete against those larger businesses. If you're doing the right things, then you really can win against some of those bigger players. Consider offline as part of an Omni channel approach to enhance your business. And quite often they overlooked the importance of quality control. And I think it's very important because you only get. One chance to make a good first impression. Normally I use 5 + 3 QC checkpoint. When you're entering a new market, there are so many different expenses like digital advertising, subscriptions, logistics fees, and if you don't pay attention in the foreign currency, you don't manage that cost base. That can really add up.
