Bottom line I fired him went to the emergency room again and a very kind doctor said your so far along so bad off nobody should ever deny you pain relief. I’m now on hospice care I’ll never see another hospital other than the morgue I’ll never ask anybody who’s worried more about their medical license then thei patient!! Thank god !! Boss I have stage four pancreatic cancer that has spread to my liver that’s has spread to my tail bone it’s very aggressive form of cancer !! I have had four rounds of chromo unfortunately I fired my first oncologist because he was just putting me trough the motions . I said I had paid he said he wouldn’t right pain medication. He said go to pain management. Pain management was on vacation unfortunately for me he would give me a divinitive date when he be back. My oncologist did not believe me . I ask isn’t their folks who can do this for me I’m very sick he said it’s not their job it’s mine . I had taken another pet scan for comparison. He called me one day and with all the chemo I’m giving you their shouldn’t be any more pain . I ask is that your professional opinion know full well you have not looked at my newest pet scan . He said that’s usually the case even though I complained about the pain several times along the way so much that he ended up backing down on the amount of chemo . Bottom line he’s say generally most people feel better all while never seeing the newest scan . I said my appolligies for listening but if much rather have a one on one personal assessment rather than a general over all assessments.
