This week and next, I have several conversations lined up with leaders across both startups and larger enterprises about the current trends shaping the Cloud & Platform Engineering space in Australia ☁️ We’ll be discussing: How the role of Cloud & Platform Engineers is evolving The rise of AI-powered tools in platforms like AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, and GCP Vertex AI How managers and leaders are adapting to AI 🤖 and the broader shifts in work culture. It’s always valuable to hear how different organisations are approaching these challenges and opportunities. If anyone would like to book some time to share insights or compare notes, I’d be happy to connect.

🚀 The AI Growth Playbook for Hybrid Cloud Partners 🚀 Just read Adam Burke latest piece on the Three Horizons Framework — and it’s a must for anyone navigating the hybrid cloud + AI journey. ✨ Key takeaways: 🔹 Horizon 1: Modernize the Core → Strengthen hybrid cloud foundations with Azure Arc, CSP, and Copilot on-ramps. 🔹 Horizon 2: Scale with AI → Broaden adoption to transform operations and customer engagement. 🔹 Horizon 3: Differentiate with IP → Build proprietary solutions, co-sell with Microsoft, and lead the market. 💡 What I love about this framework is how it balances performing while transforming — helping partners deliver today while building for tomorrow. 🎧 You can dive into the full episode here https://lnkd.in/e5DcHE9e and hear real-world partner stories from Rackspace, Crayon, and more. #HybridCloud #AI #AzureArc #MicrosoftPartners #Copilot #CloudGrowth #ThreeHorizons #DigitalTransformation

Navigating the Future of AI Cloud Solutions: CoreWeave vs Amazon Web Services (AWS) 🚀 As we dive deeper into the era of AI, understanding the nuances between cloud service providers is crucial for organizations aiming to optimize their AI workloads. I recently explored the dynamic landscape of AI cloud solutions, focusing on two key players: CoreWeave and AWS. CoreWeave is carving a niche as a specialist in GPU services, tailored specifically for AI workload demands—especially in the booming world of generative AI. With its optimized deployment speed and cost-efficient performance, it’s a game-changer for startups and VFX studios. On the flip side, AWS remains a formidable player, offering an extensive ecosystem with broad capabilities far beyond just AI. With its global reach and diverse services, AWS is a trusted partner for large enterprises navigating complex IT challenges. In this discussion, I highlight: How CoreWeave's focus on AI can accelerate deployment and reduce costs. The complexities of AWS's vast offerings that cater to diverse business needs. Key insights into optimizing your cloud strategy for AI workloads. Join me in exploring this essential comparison and find out which solution may be best for your organization! #AI #CloudComputing #CoreWeave #AWS #MachineLearning #TechTrends #Innovation #CloudInfrastructure https://lnkd.in/er_YkuNf

As cloud platforms race to embed AI everywhere, the question is shifting from “Who innovates the fastest?” to “Who helps customers evolve in the smartest way?” The cloud story has evolved dramatically over the last decade. AWS built the foundation with scale, reliability, and breadth. Azure capitalized on enterprise relationships to extend cloud into hybrid IT. Google Cloud entered later but leaned heavily into innovation, simplifying data, analytics, and AI-first services. Now, we’re seeing challengers like Oracle rise, focusing on parity between public and private cloud environments, giving enterprises flexibility without compromise. I recently heard a podcast discussing how Oracle’s AI-first focus and functional parity are helping it win new ground, especially with enterprise customers modernizing complex workloads. For Google Cloud, already seen as a leader in AI innovation, the opportunity may be to double down on execution: matching its innovation strength with consistent delivery and parity across environments. Because in the end, innovation starts the race but execution, adaptability, and customer-centric evolution decide who wins it. #CloudComputing #ProductManagement #AI #GoogleCloud #OracleCloud #CloudStrategy #Innovation #Leadership #HybridCloud #TechTrends #CustomerFirst
