Software companies may let you try it before you buy it. For example, Articulate offers a 30-day free-trial period for Articulate 360, which includes #Storyline 360 and #Rise 360. So how do you get the most value out of the time available? I suggest you do the following *before* you sign up for a trial: - Take advantage of any free tutorials, videos, and/or user guides to get an overview of how the software works. For example, Articulate has tutorials and extensive user guides that anyone can access. - Plan what you want to accomplish during the free trial, so you’ll be able to focus your time on learning the tool and determining if it would be useful to purchase (instead of wasting time pondering "what should I try now?"). - Find out what the potential outputs are, so you know what final “product” you could keep at the end of the trial. For example, with #Storyline or #Rise, you could publish a “course” with interesting interactions to showcase the work on your website. If you don't have a website, perhaps just capture some screenshots of your work. - Choose 30 days when you'll have enough time to use the software. For example, if you can practice mostly on weekends, start the trial on a Saturday morning to ensure you get as many weekends in the trial period as possible. When the trial period is over, either purchase a license right away, or stop using the software. Those are the only options that are legal and ethical. (Note: With Articulate 360, you may continue using any published output. However, you won’t be able to edit or republish the work without a license.) Yes, software is an expense—sometimes one that is too big to handle right away, especially if you don’t have clients or an employer to help you cover the cost. However, even if you only try the software for 30 days, you'll still be able to honestly say you “have used it” and "are familiar with it." You'll be able to explain why your experience is limited. And, perhaps, you’ll be able to show how much you learned in just 30 days, plus how capable and excited you are to learn more. Happy trials to you!

STOP software overwhelm 🛑: You need an All-In-One suite, but not just the tool itself. Building an online business (coaching, courses, services) shouldn't feel like managing 5 different apps every month. The smartest entrepreneurs are consolidating their tech stack with powerful "all-in-one" platforms like Kartra. This cuts costs and eliminates integration headaches (bye, bye, Zapier fees 👋). But here is the critical mistake they make: A powerful tool with weak design still fails. To launch successfully, you must outsource two core assets: Professional Sales Copy: Your sales page is your cash register. If you struggle to write persuasive copy, you need an expert to craft your message. Branded Graphics: High-converting landing pages require custom logos, banner graphics, and lead magnet visuals. DIY looks cheap. You can easily secure these professional assets without spending a fortune on an agency. Full Launch Checklist, Outsourcing Links, and the All-in-One trial are in the first comment 👇

Self-employed people still build someone else's assets. You create landing pages, newsletters, logos for clients. You get paid once. They benefit forever. But you're already creating assets. You just haven't packaged them. Turn those 100 projects into templates, courses, frameworks you own. Stop building their wealth. Start building yours.

📁 The Most Effective Way to Organize Your Project Files (And Save Hours of Work) Whether you’re working in design, development, video production, marketing, or data science, messy project folders can slow you down and cost you time you don’t have. A clean and consistent folder structure doesn’t just make things look good—it improves collaboration, speeds up onboarding, and eliminates the dreaded “Where did I save that file?” moment. Here’s a simple, scalable structure I use to organize every project. It works across industries—and with a few tweaks, you can make it your own. 🔧 The Core Project Folder Structure [Project Name] │ ├── Assets ├── Data ├── Engine ├── Post Production └── Docs (optional) Let’s break that down: Assets: Logos, branding files, templates, icons, raw images, fonts—anything visual or downloadable. Data: Research, analytics, spreadsheets, raw data files, scraped info, or database exports. Engine: The “working files.” This could be your code, design files, motion projects, or anything that’s being actively developed. Post Production: Final exports, deliverables, presentations, videos, or materials ready for client or public viewing. Docs (Optional): Meeting notes, strategy documents, briefs, feedback, and version notes. 💡 Pro Tip: Adapt It to Your Industry This structure is meant to be a flexible foundation. If you’re in software development, “Post Production” might become Builds or Releases. If you're in marketing, “Data” might include campaign results, audience segments, or performance reports. In video production, you might add folders like Audio, Renders, or Footage under Assets. Think of it as your project’s operating system: adaptable, intuitive, and clean. ✅ Final Thoughts You can start with this structure and optimize it for your industry. Once your team is aligned on folder naming and file storage, you’ll spend less time digging through chaos—and more time focusing on what matters. It’s a small habit that pays off big.

The DM Framework That Converts. “Most people destroy leads in the DMs, not because they’re pushy, but because they’re confusing.” Here’s my 3C Framework for DMs that convert: 1️⃣ Connect : start like a human. “Hey [Name], saw you’re in [industry]. Love your work!” 2️⃣ Compliment : find something real. People open up to respect, not scripts. 3️⃣ Curiosity : ask the door-opening question: “Are you happy with how your website converts visitors into clients?” That one line starts real conversations, not spam threads. DMs don’t have to feel awkward. They just have to feel human. 👉 Drop “DM SCRIPT” if you want the copy-paste version I use to book clients weekly. ➡️ Do you mainly serve coaches/consultants, local businesses, or agency owners with your web + GHL services? That’ll let me tailor Days 11–14 to hit your ideal client avatar’s pain points directly.

Sell Notion Templates ↓ People pay to solve their problems. Bigger the problem, bigger the money. I prefer using Notion to solve problems, (and build systems) Why? You can package your solution in a way that’s visually appealing & also easy to navigate. You can host your videos, build templates, and create guides. All that for free. But, to make this an epic win, you must ZOOM in on the first step - Finding the PROBLEM. One that people would happily pay to get rid of. Identify → Understand → Solve & Package it. Create the product, package it & it’s time to sell. ;) Abuse the algorithm by posting 7-8 sec reels. Do competitor research, Find viral hooks, If you model winning ideas, you are more likely to go viral and bring eyeballs to your profile. And then? Start promoting your product on your stories & make those sales! Think about it: just 40 sales of a $47 product. That’s an extra $2k. That’s not just doable; it’s a walk in the park with this strategy.

Still creating everything from scratch? You might be costing your business more than you think. Templates aren’t shortcuts. They’re strategic assets that boost efficiency, consistency, and brand trust. Here’s what templates really do for your business 👇 💰 Save Time: No need to reinvent the wheel for every email, report, or document. ⚙️ Ensure Consistency: Every client, every task, every staff follows the same standard. 📈 Enable Scale: When tasks repeat, templates turn them into reliable systems. 😌 Reduce Errors: Less manual work = fewer mistakes. Smart businesses don’t just have templates - they build around them.
