I've talking hate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It's not about the pink ribbon fundraising event. Breast cancer can get ugly doesn't start in October and it doesn't end in October. Breast Cancer awareness month is 12 months a year. My breast cancer awareness month, 500 surgeries, 200 screening mammograms, a thousands of sessions with my patients and family, 200 additional chemo hours for education. It's a fight. It's a fight, It's a fight. It's a fight every single day. It's a fight against the lack of resources, the disease insurance, and it's a fight against my patients feeling powerless. Fight against. And against late diagnosis. But we're always fighting for our patients. There are a lot of people in this fight. Nurses, doctors, surgeons, palliative and Hospice, oncologists, radiologists, CNA's and so many more. We are your Fight Club. And we are not just fighting in October. It might be silly to wear pink one month out of the year. The only thing I hate more than Breast Cancer Awareness Month is breast cancer, breast cancer, breast cancer, cancer, cancer, breast cancer. It feels good, actually.
