She begins by reflecting on her childhood in Nigeria, describing it as “a front-row seat to the strength of a woman,” being raised by her mother, who juggled a career, ran multiple businesses, and was always present. From there, she takes us through her journey abroad - living in Norway, navigating a sudden career shift, and eventually building a new life in the Netherlands. When asked for a piece of advice, two main things came to mind: 🤍 Don't limit yourself — expand, be conscious of learning, unlearning, failing, and just see the possibilities out there. 🤍 Never underestimate the power and strength of networking — it can take you to places you couldn't even imagine. Growing up or being African and then growing up specifically in Nigeria, where we feel the need to have to, you know, prove, yeah, ourselves and know that, OK, this is the goal. This is where we want to go. This is who we want to be. But in order to get there, certain steps, certain skills need to be acquired, You know, certain things need to be done to get there. So it's kind of like Lego blocks. My mom would always say, there's this thing, you know, she would always say till date, you know, kindness is its own reward, right? So this was one of the, you know, I would say soft value scale, you know, very intimate identity of myself early on because not only did I just hear her say, but I did see her like embody it.
