With 164,000 downloads in just two days and rising to No. 3 on the U.S. App Store, Sora shows there’s robust demand for AI-driven social experiences—even when access is limited. Meanwhile, Google’s Jules coding agent stepping into developers’ command lines and CI/CD pipelines is another sign that AI is deeply weaving itself into productivity workflows, promising to reduce context switching and speed up software development. Microsoft and OpenAI: A Masterclass in Strategic Partnership for the #AI Era Microsoft’s early and substantial investment in OpenAI was more than a financial bet; it was a masterclass in strategic foresight. While many companies were merely talking about AI's potential, Microsoft secured exclusive access to cutting-edge technology and a key position at the forefront of the generative AI revolution. This partnership model—where a large, established player provides the infrastructure and resources for a nimble, innovative startup—has since become the blueprint for accelerated AI development. This move was "game-changing" for Microsoft, transforming its product suite from search to enterprise software by embedding powerful AI capabilities. Lessons for the Telecom Industry: A 6G Agentic AI Strategy: The telecom industry, which is already grappling with the high costs and slow monetization of 5G, can learn valuable lessons from the Microsoft-OpenAI model as it prepares for 6G. The next generation of mobile technology is envisioned to be AI-native, not just AI-enhanced. To truly capitalize on this, telecom companies need to shift their strategy from a sole focus on infrastructure to one that prioritizes AI as a core service and a source of competitive differentiation which leads this domain towards Multi Modal #Agentic AI and #Worldmodel framework. Instead of building all AI capabilities in-house, telecom companies should forge deep, multi-level partnerships with specialist AI firms or System Integrators. This mirrors Microsoft's move: a telco could provide its immense network infrastructure and data to an AI partner in exchange for exclusive access to advanced multi-modal Agentic AI architectures. These agents, unlike simple automation scripts, can act autonomously, make decisions, and interact with various data types (voice, video, text) to manage complex network operations. In the #6G era, the network will be an intelligent platform, not just a data pipe. This new architecture can be built to handle new device types and traffic patterns, with AI at its core. By adopting Agentic AI, a telco can Proactively optimize network traffic,  Offer new revenue-generating services and Enhance customer experience. AI software is making money Not just hardware are profiting from AI The five US tech giants, Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Meta, and Microsoft, recently released their second-quarter 2025 financial reports. One of the most significant revelations was that "AI software is starting to make money." This has two key implications: First, ordinary people are already using AI in their daily lives and work; otherwise, software companies wouldn't be able to profit from it. More importantly, hardware industries, such as semiconductors, data center equipment, network communications, servers, and even energy generation, are no longer the only ones poised to profit from the AI boom.
