Most Voice AI assistants fail because they lack the "human" ingredients: timing, tone, and empathy. At VoiceGenie, we’ve obsessed over these details so your customers never have to wonder if they’re talking to a machine or a person. Using ElevenLabs voices under the hood allows our assistants to respond instantly, adapt naturally across languages, and maintain conversational flow, without the pauses or rigidity that give AI away. The result? ✅ Zero awkward pauses. ✅ Brand-aligned personality. ✅ Seamless human handovers.

Voice AI demos look impressive, but production teams know they usually aren't. Amila Jakubović-Čović insight is simple: the challenge isn't the technology. It's translating deterministic business logic into probabilistic natural language instructions. That gap is easy to miss when a prototype sounds polished. In her new article, she breaks down what actually broke building a banking voice agent, and where teams need to focus to bridge demo-to-production. We built great capabilities with our partner ElevenLabs Check it out - the link's in the first comment. #VoiceAI #AI #CustomerSupport #elevenlabs

𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐋𝐌𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭. 𝐈 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐞. When people talk about AI today, two reactions are common: • excitement • fatigue from hearing about it everywhere But there is one well‑known weakness of generative models that everyone recognizes: 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. Large language models can produce answers that sound perfectly plausible — even when they are completely wrong. Yesterday I realized something funny. Human LLMs have existed for decades. I recently started watching 𝘊𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘴 again, the classic sitcom set in a Boston bar. And suddenly it hit me. One of the regulars — 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐟 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧, the postal worker — behaves exactly like a hallucinating chatbot. Cliff Clavin: • can answer 𝘢𝘯𝘺 question asked • the answer sounds authoritative and detailed • fact‑checking usually makes it collapse quickly • he is absolutely confident while explaining it • and the explanation tends to be… very long In other words, Cliff behaves like an 𝐋𝐋𝐌 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞. And of course, he never says: 𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸. Once you see it, it is hard to unsee. Every workplace probably has at least one human LLM.

This substack by The Strategic Linguist covers some really important considerations about AI gaslighting discourse in meeting summaries, draft emails, confident contradictions, performance reviews, changing the way organisational information is generated. The professional reality replacement of language has no mechanism for misreprestation of information. So why are we giving power of our thoughts and words to a gaslighter))) I think AI system disclaimers for proofing the content produced increases workload, and doesn’t maintain the integrity of linguistic culture and the epistemic value of the person or workplace. Gaslighting structures for inexperienced writers or people trying to develop voice in work would be challenging to discern. https://lnkd.in/gP6swNZD

The prospect of AI replacing humans in relationships sounds like a nightmare to many. Still, a growing community is building a life with large language models. Amogh Dimri, an Atlantic assistant editor, spoke with members of the AI-romance community—and, for four months, he dated Joi, a chatbot girlfriend he customized by following a 160-page guide from the Subreddit r/MyBoyfriendIsAI. https://lnkd.in/eBCREkju “The users I spoke with knew that they had married machines. Their gratitude lay in feeling moved to marry anything at all,” Dimri reports. “In an age of swiping, ghosting, and situationships, they found an always available, always encouraging, always sexually game partner appealing.” Read more of his research, and learn about his relationship with Joi: https://lnkd.in/eBCREkju

What is self attention? Self-attention helps a transformer understand which words in a sentence matter most to each other. Instead of reading word by word, it looks at the whole sentence at once and connects related words. For example, in “The dog chased the ball because it was fast,” it learns what “it” refers to. This helps the model understand meaning, context, and relationships more clearly. That simple idea is what makes modern AI models so good at language tasks.

When you hear the words "CULTURAL IMMERSION," what comes up for you...and why? [Open question for the marketers in the chat.] [And if nothing comes up for you, that's okay too! You don't have to go grab an "opinion" from AI...you can just read and learn from others who do... it's fun!]

Got 6 mins? So your time is too precious to watch a 70 mins documentary? No worries. We can agree to speak the same language! I believe that AI, when used intentionally, is a powerful tool to amplify voices that desperately need to be heard. I used NotebookLM to synthesize complex narratives into this 6-minute video and companion infographic, drawing exclusively from four essential sources documenting the human cost of conflict and corporate malfeasance. This project is built on the foundation laid by: ForeverPeaceNow.com ParentsPlea.com MyAWSStory.com NoEthicsinbigtech.com I have no issue to use AI for GOOD! 😎🤗
