Underrated hand gestures you need to learn! Placater: open and inviting gesture Leveller: shows more authority Pick the right hand gesture to use when you're communicating, and watch how much more support your words get.

Careful to not look like a magician with either of these. It has to come naturally from intention. It is true: how you move your body heavily influences vocal delivery. And what influences the body is identity and intent. That is the strongest authority you can build.

Communication experts say gestures amplify influence. That may explain why meetings often reward choreography over substance.

I genuinely could not stop smiling watching this, such practical and underrated techniques. What's interesting is that the right gesture only lands when the body is regulated enough to deliver it with intention, like when you’re speaking to someone you feel completely relaxed around Under real pressure, most people's hands default to gripping, or disappearing entirely, the nervous system takes over before the technique can show up. That gap between knowing the gesture and being able to access it under pressure is exactly what Poyse is built around.

Whoa! This is powerful..! I have been using Placater all my life... never realised the huge impact these two slightly different gestures can make..once again, my mind is blown..

The leveller is underrated. Authority without aggression is a skill most people never practice. ⚡️

This man is so genius I can’t wait to become friends with him because I once considered myself a MAC ( Mastered the Art Communication) my guy here is on a uniquely enhanced level and I love it. Keep it up 😎
