Vineet Aswani’s Post

After several intense months of work, I chose to step away, not to disconnect from impact, but to reconnect with it. This visit to Isha Yoga Centre was my first flight after my brain surgery and also my first true break since then. More than rest, it was about creating space, something leaders rarely allow themselves. With no agenda and no familiar faces, the days slowed down. Long stretches of silence. Minimal digital consumption. Time to observe rather than respond. In that stillness, something important became clear - Sustained leadership impact does not come from constant motion. It comes from clarity. For those of us in HR and talent roles, our work demands judgment, perspective, and emotional availability. Yet we often operate in continuous “delivery mode.” Intentional pauses like these are not time away from work, they are investments in better decision-making, deeper presence, and more aligned leadership. I returned with a clearer mind, renewed energy, and sharper direction on where to focus next. The noise reduced. Priorities reorganized themselves. The quality of thinking improved. As leaders, the question may not be how much more can we do, but how much space are we creating to do what truly matters. If you arrive with no agenda, you don’t come back empty, You come back fuller than you imagined.

I was privileged to visit adiyogi last year and had the similar experience.

“Creating space” so that the cup can refill without running over….. Awesome Vineet Aswani !! Although we are somewhat forced to always deliver towards an outcome, clarity can avoid a “forced outcome”…

Vineet Aswani completely agree with this thought.. If there is silence and a mind that is ready to receive, only then can we have new thought, new ideas..and renewal !!!!!!! Wish your renewed self all the very best !!!!!

Vineet Aswani sustained leadership impact comes from clarity - well said!

That's called the power of being open-minded! More power to you Vineet Aswani
