April 2026 - Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot and PowerPlatform Roadmap Announcements. Tech never sleeps and another month is due. Here is the automated roadmap summary for April. Top personal findings: - E7 goes GA. It will be interesting to see its adoption rate. Currently it is a no brainer for Copilot heavy orgs that already have licensed their users and now need a native way to govern their AI adoption in Entra suite and Agent 365. However if you are not a Copilot adopter, I would wait for better value when more and more features get added. - Shadow AI in Agent 365 and admin.microsoft.com. Finally a native way to detect shadow AI in both software and network. Openclaw and Anthropics models are spreading like wild fire. Very exciting times, but you need to understand the risks before you tap in. - Model driven cards now in Copilot chat, preview mode. I was a big fan of Power Apps Cards, but sadly it got dumped and never became what it had potential to become, a native in chat dynamic process card. A new version of Power Apps cards have emerged, based on Model driven apps that now let users dynamically interact with data. Bye bye static adaptive cards, hello dynamic model cards. That's it. Enjoy the full report attached. Let's get back to building #Microsoft365 #PowerPlatform #Copilot #Roadmap #April

🛠️More Models, More Control: What's New in Microsoft Copilot Studio Multi-agent orchestration in Copilot Studio is no longer in preview. Three capabilities are now generally available — and they change how enterprise agent systems get built and deployed. ✅ Fabric integration, Microsoft 365 Agents SDK orchestration, and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) support have all reached GA — agents built on different platforms can now delegate work to each other through an open protocol, without requiring a unified stack ✅ The immersive Prompt Builder consolidates editing, model switching, and testing in a single workspace, cutting the context switches that slow iteration toward production-ready results ✅ Content moderation controls are now GA in supported regions — teams in healthcare, insurance, and law enforcement can adjust sensitivity thresholds on managed models directly ✅ Expanded model support includes Anthropic Claude Opus 4.6, Claude Sonnet 4.5, Grok 4.1 Fast, and GPT-5.3 Thinking in paid experimental preview (US) For organizations running Dynamics 365 alongside Power Platform, these GA updates remove the main barrier to multi-agent production deployments — the architecture is ready for the work that was previously pilot-only. I'd love to see an organized process using CoPilot at work. Microsoft Copilot only creates value when teams redesign how work actually happens. This breakdown shows real enterprise use cases — not just feature ype. https://lnkd.in/g6qkX4Ke

Agent Mode is now the default in Microsoft Copilot. Not optional. The default. This isn’t a feature update. It’s a platform shift. What it means for our customers and partners: - The canvas is the platform — Workflows move inside docs, sheets, presentations. Build for agent-native execution, not prompts. - Context is expected — If your app doesn’t reason over customer data, Copilot will. - GA changes urgency — Now is the time to move from pilots to real Marketplace scale. This is exactly why it matters — helping partners build, transact, and scale in an agent-first world. https://lnkd.in/e2G46Zhm #ISVWorks #MicrosoftCopilot #AgentMode #EMEAISV #Marketplace

Microsoft just admitted Copilot was slow. Their words, not mine. → New Microsoft 365 Copilot loads 2X faster → Cleaner UI because the old one was cluttered → "Progressive disclosure" = hiding buttons nobody clicked → Structured responses because users were skipping them They have been charging for Copilot for over 2 years. They still rewrote the whole product because adoption stalled. Here is what few tell you about the AI boom: no product is finished. Everyone patches live with your subscription already paid. At Beta AI we do not sell promises. We ship workflows that work today. Not "loads 2X faster". Loads. Does your team actually use Copilot or just pay for the license? #AI #Productivity #Microsoft #Automation #BetaAI

This article explains how Copilot Notebooks is getting smarter and more helpful for Microsoft 365 Copilot users. The idea is to bring all the pieces of work that are usually spread across emails, meetings, chats, files, and quick notes into one shared, AI powered space. The updated experience makes it easier to stay organized by keeping chats, references, and Copilot outputs together, with smooth syncing between the Microsoft 365 Copilot app and OneNote. You can now add richer context like Teams meetings, Outlook email threads, and even web pages, so Copilot has a fuller picture to work with and can help surface decisions, gaps, and insights more accurately. The article also highlights new ways to capture ideas on the go using the OneNote iPhone app, where audio, photos, and notes can be turned into structured notebook pages automatically. On top of that, notebooks can now generate more types of finished work, including Excel spreadsheets and infographics, making it easier to turn raw information into something ready to share. If this sounds useful and you want details on availability, examples, and what is coming through the Frontier program, take a moment to consult the full post to learn more.
