Village Global’s Post

At a network-driven fund, gathering matters. A strong network isn’t just a map of companies—it’s a web of people. To really know them, you have to go beyond what they’re building. Last week, we hosted a dinner in Austin to bring founders, builders, and friends of Village together. We asked guests to share not just what they do—but what lights them up. Hobbies ranged from Tibetan meditation to AI-powered fantasy baseball to writing novels about heroic dogs. The answers sparked real connection—and made the night a cup-filling pause from the hustle. Thanks to everyone who came and shared their stories. We’re grateful you are in our Village. 🙏

This hit different. When you’re locked in, focused on the mission, the vision, and doing the work. It's easy to forget how vital these kinds of spaces are. A moment to pause, connect, and be around others who understand the journey.
