"What's your magic formula for delivering premium voiceover projects to clients?" I get asked this question all the time Well, bring your seats closer, because I'm about to share my top tips to take your voiceover career to the next level! ARE YOU READY? The truth is there is no magic anywhere, the great results that you see are a product of commitment and quality strategies. That's for another day. Let's get right into what I would like to share with you. As an experienced voiceover artist, these are the top three tips you shouldn't despise to improve your voiceover skill. ✅Vocal Warmups: You know that point where you want to hit a pitch but you are encountering certain vocal constraints. Here is how you get those vocal cords ready for action! Vocal Warmups! It's like doing stretching exercises before a workout. It prepares your voice for recording. Doing vocal warmups before recording or performing can make a huge difference in the quality of your voice. They help; ☑ Loosen up the vocal cords and get them ready for use ☑Improve vocal flexibility ☑ Enhance tone and pitch accuracy ☑ Reduce the risk of vocal strain and fatigue ✅Tongue Twisters: This is one of my favourite rituals. As a voiceover artist, you would agree with me that there are times we have complex vocabulary that needs to be communicated clearly and concisely. One way to hit that professional spot is to practice tongue twisters regularly which can help you improve your overall speech clarity. It just helps you; ☑ master the art of articulation and diction! ☑ Improve articulation and diction ☑ Enhance pronunciation and enunciation ☑ Increase vocal agility and coordination ☑Help to develop precise and clear speech ☑ Reduce the risk of errors and mistakes Lastly and Importantly ✅Hydration: Drinking plenty of water throughout the day can help to keep your voice sounding its best. You can't offer me a caffeinated or sugary drink and I will accept and drink it. Those drinks dehydrate you. As a voiceover artist, your aim should be to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water per day. ☑ water helps to keep the vocal cords lubricated and healthy ☑ Dehydration can lead to vocal strain, fatigue, and damage ☑ Even mild dehydration can affect the quality of your voice ☑water helps to improve your focus, concentration, and overall performance By incorporating these three tips into your daily routine, you can improve your voiceover skills and deliver premium projects to your clients. If you found this helpful share it with your voiceover colleagues. I am rooting for you. I am Toluwanimi Adeoye-Oke (Dvoiceofvee). #dvoiceofvee #voiceoverartist #voiceover #EventHost
