Your webinar show-up rate is crashing… and you’re wondering why. Here’s what I’ve seen work — every time: 1️⃣ Pre-Webinar Emails Don’t just notify — initiate conversation. Write emails that get replies. That’s how you stay top of mind. 2️⃣ Consultative Reminder Calls Stop saying: “Your session is at 7 PM, please join.” Start asking: 👉 What do you want to learn? 👉 What challenge are you trying to solve? Make them give a reason to show up. 3️⃣ Show-Up Bonuses that Matter Don’t hand out PDFs. Give something that feels like it’s equal to a paid offer. When they see value before the pitch, they trust the pitch more. 📩 Want to increase your webinar attendance rate AND convert more live? 59 people attended my client's webinar 2 weeks ago. 1 of them closed within a week. Because for the first time ever, they knew exactly who to call first. Most businesses run webinars, get a list of attendees, and send the same follow-up to everyone. They work through the list alphabetically or by company size, hoping someone responds. My client used to do the same thing. Webinars generated interest, but conversion? Hit and miss. So we built something different into their sales process. We used poll questions during the webinar designed to identify one specific universal pain point. Not surface-level "are you interested?" questions... but questions that revealed whether attendees were actively experiencing the problem right now. Five attendees answered in a way that flagged them as Sales Accepted Leads. Real pain. Happening now. Worth prioritising. One of those five stood out immediately. Instead of working through all 59 attendees over the next few weeks, the salesperson called that prospect the same day the webinar ended. > Meeting booked > Discovery completed > Proposal prepared and sent Deal closed within a week. And this was the first time a webinar had converted that fast. Not because the webinar content improved. Not because they suddenly got better at sales. Because they knew exactly who to call first. The other 54 attendees? They went into nurture sequences and future event lists. Still valuable. Just not ready yet. But that one prospect? They had the pain, the urgency, and the authority. The system surfaced them immediately. Most founders think they need more webinar attendees. The real problem? Not knowing which five people in the room are actually ready to buy. How do you prioritise leads after a webinar or event? First come first served, or something more systematic? #Sales #SalesProcess #BusinessGrowth #FirstSalesHire

Comments can earn you clients, if done right. Commenting led me to quality leads, and it can do the same for you. At first, I wasn’t sure if commenting even mattered. Then I started: ✅ Leaving thoughtful insights on posts from people in my network ✅ Following up with personalized DMs to warm leads The results? I started getting actual leads from this approach. Comments built familiarity, and DMs helped turn interest into conversations. Lesson learned: Visibility + engagement = trust before the first message. Want to try this approach to start generating warm leads?

Here’s the LinkedIn workflow that keeps my pipeline warm: Step 1 → Get crystal clear on ICP (roles, industries, geos). Step 2 → Connection flow: intro → value → insight. Step 3 → Post content twice a week that speaks to your ICP’s problems. Step 4 → Track weekly. Keep what works. Drop what doesn’t. Simple, right? But most people skip step 3 and then wonder why their DMs are cold. #LinkedInLeadGen #SalesStrategy #B2BMarketing

“I’m just going to wing it. I’m better on the fly.” Can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard that prepping presenters for prospect webinars, sales kickoffs, and partner trainings. Scripts have their place, depending on how your process and preparation work, but most of us don’t have time to memorize and even pros can come off stiff when they do. So how do you plan for success without reading a novel? Use bullet points, not a script. Prepare your talk like…a talk: → Intro: hook that actually resonates with this audience → Story: the problem framed in a way they feel seen → Demonstrate: show a simple path/solution (not every feature) → Next step: one clear action to move forward → Close: in a confident and helpful way instead of pressure sales Then practice with a timer. Yes—every time. The best rehearse. Or you could wing it and hope you don't lose your audience in a lengthy rant... Are you better scripted or unscripted? 👇 Want to host a great webinar? How to Turn Your Vision Into Goals (Step 2 of 3) Step 2: Break Goals Into Actions Once you have set your goals, define the actions that will move them forward. Example: Core Goal: “Sign 3 new clients.” Actions: “Send 10 outreach messages per week, follow up with warm leads, host 1 discovery call weekly.” The actions become the weekly habits that build toward your vision. Tomorrow, we share step 3. #smallbusinessowner #businessgoals #12weekyear
