This weekend I can finally say DruScan is stable and recommend it without holding my breath every time someone new signs up. For anyone who hasn't come across it: it's a free audit module on Drupal.org plus an optional dashboard to see the health of all your Drupal projects on one screen. The module runs 200+ checks. The dashboard is where it pays off if you handle several sites at once. I wrote a longer post on my personal blog with the origin story, the technical decisions along the way, and why I'm betting on a product alongside client work: https://lnkd.in/gpEQ3_HZ Both the module and the dashboard are free to try. Honest feedback would really help, especially from people who install it on real projects and break it. #Drupal #OpenSource

Aten Design Group has introduced Entity Webhook, a new Drupal contributed module designed to simplify inbound/outbound webhook integrations and scheduled API polling. Presented by Joel Steidl and maintained by Travis Tomka, the module combines configurable entity mapping, async event broadcasting, polling support, and built-in security features into a single workflow — reducing the need for custom integration code in Drupal Commerce and other API-heavy projects. Drupal ECA is moving toward more accessible low-code automation workflows. A new in-context template system lets site builders apply workflow automations directly inside Drupal forms — without opening the full Workflow Modeler. The update introduces: • Context-aware automation templates • Field-level workflow actions • Simplified configuration flows • Reusable workflow scaffolding Based on work outlined by Jürgen Haas. A major site template refresh just landed on Drupal Forge. We’ve made it much faster to try Drupal CMS templates. What’s new: Newly optimized Drupal CMS installer No email prompt No long wait for the installer to run Instant demos for all free Drupal CMS site templates Amazee AI enabled in every demo The Drupal CMS site templates are now the first 13 demos on the Drupal Forge homepage. That means you can skip the installer entirely, pick a template, and start exploring right away. For site builders, agencies, trainers, and Drupal teams, this makes Drupal CMS much easier to evaluate, demo, and share. Less waiting. More building. Try it at DrupalForge.org #DrupalForge #Drupal #DrupalCMS #DrupalDevelopment #DrupalCommunity #DrupalAI #OpenSource #WebsiteTemplates

Drupal CMS 2.0 just launched with a no-code visual builder. For years, the biggest complaint about Drupal was that marketing teams couldn't touch it without a developer. Every small content change became a ticket. Every update a project. That's changing. The new Canvas visual builder lets non-technical teams build and edit pages directly. No code, no waiting. For B2B companies already running on Acquia, this means your marketing team can finally move at the speed your pipeline needs. The platform you invested in just got a lot more powerful. #Drupal #AcquiaPartner #B2BMarketing

“Doing Drupal right” is a phrase that comes up often. But what does it actually mean in practice? From what I’ve seen, it’s not about: - Just building features - Or getting things to work quickly It’s about how you build. For example: - Avoiding core hacks - Using the right modules instead of workarounds - Designing for scalability from the beginning - Keeping the system maintainable for future teams These decisions may not always be visible upfront. But they define: - Performance - Upgrade paths - Long-term cost - Overall system stability And the reality is: Not every developer approaches Drupal the same way. The difference often shows up later—when: - Changes become harder - Bugs take longer to fix - Teams struggle to scale the platform “Doing Drupal right” is not about perfection. 👉 It’s about making the right decisions early so the system doesn’t slow you down later.
