That voice in your head saying you're not qualified? Not ready? Not capable? It's not your personality. It's faulty wiring. And faulty wiring can be rewired. Cognitive distortions are thinking patterns that hold you back professionally—but once you learn to spot them, you can challenge and replace them with realistic, balanced thoughts. Your thoughts ≠ reality. Time to recognize the distortion and replace it with truth. #CognitiveDistortions #InnerCritic #MindsetShift #SelfAwareness #ProfessionalGrowth #CareerConfidence #MentalHealthAtWork #GrowthMindset #SelfTalk #CareerDevelopment

I’ve had a new article published, and this one sits close. It’s for the people who are used to being the strong one. The ones who hold things together, who notice, who step in… often without anyone really seeing what it costs. At some point, it stops feeling like strength. And starts feeling like you’re carrying more than is yours. Why do I always feel responsible for everyone? This piece looks at self-sacrifice, attachment, and how these patterns form — not as flaws, but as ways we learned to stay connected. And how, over time, they can leave you quietly exhausted. If something in you recognises that, you’re not the only one. Have a read: https://lnkd.in/eaYv_K_u

I’m starting something new. For a long time, I thought confidence was something you either had… or didn’t. But over the years, I’ve learned something different. Confidence is not a personality trait. It’s a practice. This is why performers all seem so self assured. They’ve simply practiced how they show up. How they speak. How they carry themselves. How they express. So for the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing simple acting tools to help you: Speak with more confidence Show up more powerfully Stop overthinking how you’re perceived And to most importantly Embody the version of yourself you most desire to be. If this is something you struggle with, follow along. Let’s practice.

The difference between “self-improvement” and “self-understanding”: Self-improvement assumes that something is broken. It’s about being more, being better, trying to “fix.” But it can become a never-ending treadmill to nowhere. Self-understanding is about listening, looking inward, and investigating. It looks like reflection, asking uncomfortable questions, and discovering how you relate to yourself. It’s not about addition, but rather about unfolding what is already here. It’s about removing what’s in your way, so you can flow freer. Want to go on that journey with me?

You likely learned to move fast, talk fast and over explain - or “over-talk” meaning you keep talking if someone doesn’t give the approval signal you unconsciously wait for - if you grew up feeling the need to produce, perform or make things ok for the people around you. I know it can feel uncomfortable to slow down or sit in a pocket of silence during a conversation so simply start by noticing - observe yourself and chances are, you’ll start to make small but powerful shifts in your behavior simply bc you’re more tuned in! 🙌🤍 #heartset #powerfulwomen #nervoussystemhealing #healingfromwithin #selfabandonment

“How would you feel if…?” This question goes straight to emotion, not logic. It helps people explore outcomes before committing to them. It reveals motivation without pressure. Use it when you want to future-pace or understand what really matters. “How would you feel if this helped you hit your target early?” Instead of telling someone it will work, invite them to imagine how it would feel if it did.

When you ask an expert to walk away from a procedure they have spent thousands of hours mastering, you aren't just changing a workflow; you are asking for a "deidentification." In this video, we explore how to coach through resistance by: - Identifying the specific emotion (like fear) attached to the change. - Gauging the intensity of that emotion on a scale of 1 to 10. - Understanding how that fear is negatively impacting their life. - Reframing the goal toward how they would rather feel, such as peaceful or optimistic. By processing these emotions, we can help people move past their resistance and embrace a new identity. #MavrixProfitSystem #PracticeTransformation #OutOfTheSystem

Sometimes stress isn’t asking for a solution It’s asking to be understood. We’re often quick to fix, solve, or push through ⚙️ But not everything needs immediate action. Some experiences need space. Some emotions need to be heard. 🦻🏼 And in many cases, listening does more than pushing 🌿 What if understanding came before action?

Common Lens: When similar emotional responses show up across different situations, they are often explained by the uniqueness of each event. Each moment feels distinct, with its own pressures and dynamics, making the reaction seem appropriate every time. This can create a sense of consistency in reasoning, even as the pattern itself remains unnoticed, allowing the same responses to repeat without being fully recognized. Another Way to See It: Patterns that remain unexamined can begin to shape how situations are interpreted, not just how they are experienced. Over time, reactions may feel justified because they are familiar, not because they are newly formed. When attention shifts toward the repetition itself, the pattern becomes more visible, and the connection between past and present responses begins to come into focus. #alignandlead #bringingworkplacestogether
