Undoubtedly, AI has impacted the audiovisual media world. You can easily create a piece of art fast, without effort and even better than a professional mind. Don't get me wrong AI is changing the world structure, company and graphic designer paradigm. I’ve done many courses related to drawing, composition, color, photo, video, animation, Adobe software, edition, short films, lights and shadows and tonal values and I believe it is a little shocking to create a great image in just a few minutes. Does it mean that I'm against AI? The answer is not, it is just a tool and each one chooses his/her own way. Above all, anything could be a piece of art, depending on your conceptions, feelings, sentiments and emotions. I'd like to know your opinion about this topic? If you ask me, I prefer to enjoy the process, the design, structure, tonal values, textures, composition, unity vs chaos, contrasts, lights and shadows, relationships, shape, line, overlapping, mistakes and much more…..

I'm not a motion graphics designer, yet thanks to AI, I created this video in a fraction of the time an expert would have needed just a few years ago 😉 . Here's the simple workflow I used: ▪️ My LinkedIn article, "From Sprawl to a Wiki," (https://lnkd.in/dGrTVi-Z) served as the foundation. ▪️ An AI analyzed the text and created a suitable slide deck. ▪️ Another AI handled the animation of the slide transitions. ▪️ The manual work was "just" a matter of assembling the elements into the final video. The result may not be perfect—but perfection is probably the wrong metric when using AI. "Good enough" is the new perfect. I believe AI is most impactful when we apply the 80/20 principle: achieving 80% of the results with 20% of the effort. And while videos like this are a great way to visually demonstrate how AI can support our workflows, similar efficiency gains can be found in many other tasks and processes. #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #KnowledgeManagement #Digitalization #Efficiency #FutureOfWork #Animation

Motion capture is revolutionizing AI video generation. It's all about the movement. You see, a few years back, AI video generators were all about looks - how realistic the visuals were, or how well the lips synced with the audio. But now, it's all about capturing the essence of motion, and that's what makes a video truly believable. So, what makes a video feel real, not fake? It's the little things - a raised eyebrow, a subtle smile, or a nod of the head. Natural body movement, facial expressions, emotion consistency, and viewer immersion are all crucial elements that motion capture helps achieve. And, let's be honest, who doesn't want their AI-generated videos to feel like they're watching a real person, not a robot? Motion capture works by analyzing data and simulating movement - it's like teaching a computer to dance, or to mimic the way we move. This technology lets you create animated videos from simple inputs like text or photos, which is pretty cool. Good motion capture is essential for creating natural movement, facial expressions, and emotion consistency - all of which contribute to viewer immersion. It's like the difference between a video that's just a bunch of words on a screen, and one that actually draws you in and makes you feel something. Avatars, for instance, can move naturally and feel more human with motion capture. This is especially important for short videos, where viewers are quick to judge. Template-based motion systems make it easy for anyone to create smooth videos, which is a game-changer. But, of course, there are challenges - complex motion, fast movements, and emotional nuance can be tough to capture. Still, with continuous training and data integration, these areas are improving rapidly. And, with integrated AI video platforms, the future of video creation is looking bright - it's going to be all about experimenting with motion styles and video formats, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. In times of AI, I find myself asking this more and more often: How important is the craft of drawing today? For me, this is less about producing beautiful sketches and more about something fundamental. Drawing trains the eye — for proportion, composition, and visual thinking. Skills that no prompt can truly replace. I’m especially interested in the perspective of agency owners and leaders: Are you noticing fewer applicants who can actually draw? And from your point of view — is drawing still a relevant skill today, or has it become a nice-to-have? Curious to hear your experiences. Jean-Remy von Matt Florian Haller ____ Tools used for the video: - "Procreate" for drawing it with my bare hands. - "After Effects" and "Midjourney" for Animation #design #creativity #drawing #visualthinking #agencyleadership #AI

2017/2025: Traditional vs AI hybrid workflow. I recently revisited an old art direction project with a challenge: how would I approach it today with AI integration? 🎨 Design exploration and concepting ⚡ Animation development 🚀 Final delivery ( a bit of roto and content aware fill to remove unwanted parts) Key takeaways: Working with Midjourney after strategic research sessions with Perplexity AI gave me significantly more control over the creative direction. The ability to refine prompts iteratively—and return to previous versions—fundamentally changes the design process. 🔄 The result? A hybrid workflow that combines the best of both worlds: creative intuition meets computational power. ✨ Curious about how this could apply to your next project? Let's connect. 💬 #MotionDesign #AIWorkflow #CreativeProcess #GenerativeAI #DesignInnovation #ContentCreation #Adobe #Midjourney

Applying what I've learned in using generative AI tools to create character sketches, scenes, storyboards, stills (posters), and animate them into a 1+ minute mock campaign video for the Kawasaki Corleo (mock client, not affiliated nor sponsored in any way). Script: We used to think the future would be loud. But true power... listens. From the ancient... to the airborne... to the fragile. We are no longer conquerors. We are guests. Don’t just ride through the world. Be one with it. --- Tools used: Google’s Gemini 3.0 - brainstorming, conceptualizations, prompt polishing, script polishing NanoBanana & Flux Pro - character sketches, image generation (elements & final outputs) Kling AI 2.6 - Animation ElevenLabs - voice over Suno - background music Rawtherapee - image processing Capcut - video editing ---- This video tells the other side of the story where the Kawasaki Corleo serves as the vehicle (quite literally huehue) for adventurers to immerse and be one with nature. It imagines a future utopic world where gentle giants protect the forest, air-borne jellyfish drifts beneath the canopies, noir-furred deer with marble antlers, leopard squirrels, and bioluminescent flora and fungi. The music, generated using Suno, really set the foundation for the creative decisions for the script and visuals. Once I heard the track, I immediately got to the script, and editing the videos together. The scenes were mostly based on the stills generated for the posters, except for the jellyfish bloom, meditative deep breathe, and deer grazing scenes. I had to do follow up image and video generations to fill in missing sections after doing an initial edit. I can go deep into the process in a video format (It's also easier to explain the process with visual aid). ---- disclaimer: This project is a conceptual, non-commercial portfolio piece and is in no way affiliated with or sponsored by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. Can AI replace pro cameras? That was the question I wanted to explore with this video i worked on while working with AVATR JO. Every visual you see here started from raw photos I took on my iPhone, inside a normal showroom — no studio setup, no professional camera, no special lighting. From there, the process became an experiment: The images were edited and enhanced in Photoshop New visuals were generated and reimagined using AI The final motion and storytelling were animated and edited in Premiere Pro And yes — everything you see in this video is purely AI-driven What excites me most isn’t whether AI replaces professional cameras — it’s how it reshapes creativity. AI doesn’t eliminate skill; it amplifies vision. The eye behind the frame, the concept, and the storytelling still matter more than ever. This is just the beginning of how content, branding, and visual production will evolve. Curious to hear your thoughts: Can AI truly replace pro cameras — or is it simply changing how we use them? #AI #CreativeTechnology #ContentCreation #VisualStorytelling #Photoshop #PremierePro #Innovation #avatr
