Celebrating 25 years at Microsoft today! On March 5, 2001, I joined Microsoft as a college hire and took my very first flight to Redmond. What followed has been an incredible engineering journey spanning multiple generations of technology. I began by working on implementing Unix protocols in Windows, spent a decade in the Windows Kernel, file systems and Storage teams, followed by another decade building storage and virtualization appliances. Over the past several years, I’ve been fortunate to work on containers and serverless platforms. Interestingly, I haven’t interviewed for or changed teams in 25 years—but thanks to multiple reorganizations and evolving priorities, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a wide range of cutting-edge technologies that deliver meaningful value to customers. I’m grateful to the many colleagues and mentors who have helped shape my professional growth along the way. Looking forward to continuing the journey of learning and innovation.

I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with You, Aniket, Muthu, and the team from 2008 to 2012 on the windows file system and offline file caching.
