After working in Splunk services since 2013, one thing is very clear to me. Most implementations don’t fail because of lack of knowledge. They slow down because of repetitive work. Same onboarding steps Same data issues Same health checks Same tuning again and again Now with agents, we can change this. Not by replacing experts. But by helping them move faster. I strongly believe the future is: 👉 Expert-led 👉 Agent-assisted At bitsIO Inc., we have started building in this direction. More to share soon. #bitsIOAI #splunk #cisco

I had the opportunity to work alongside Sam, Red Hat, industry partners and several defence organisations during our month in the High North. His summary captures well both the experience and the urgency we all felt. HEIMDALL reinforced a clear trend: future operations will depend on smaller, distributed and increasingly autonomous systems. In that context, open architectures, trusted AI and resilient edge capabilities are essential. Our One IBM team — together with Red Hat — demonstrated how these technologies can provide decision advantage even in the most demanding environments. Sam’s full post is well worth a read for those following the evolution of defence technology and edge‑driven operations. #DefenseInnovation #AI #EdgeComputing #HybridCloud #RedHat #IBM https://lnkd.in/eiRjxJWn

Great week down in Atlanta at Red Hat Summit! I always look forward to the keynotes and catching up with partners and customers. This year was a first for me though—I actually got up and presented. Hart Ripley and I did a lightning talk on OpenShift and HashiCorp Vault. I've presented similar topics elsewhere, but never at a Red Hat event. It's such an important topic right now. As organizations modernize—whether they want to increase velocity, de-risk from vendor shifts like Broadcom, or get ready for AI—we have to remember that a "platform" is rarely just one product. It’s usually a set of products wired together to give your dev and ops teams the features they need. Our talk wasn't just about containers, and it wasn't just about secret management. We focused on how you bring them together: how do you build a platform that offers containerization while actually giving developers a secure, built-in way to consume secrets? Hart put together a repo with some sample docs and use cases from the session, and we're happy to share it here: https://lnkd.in/eD-sKjg7 It was great to see everyone there, hope you all had a good and safe trip back home. See you at the next one! MOBIA Red Hat HashiCorp IBM #platformengineering #secretsmanagement #containerization #modernization #techconference

One question I am getting: “Will agents replace Splunk consultants?” My answer is simple: No. Good consultants will become even more important. But their work will change. Agents can: - analyze data faster - find issues faster - suggest fixes But humans still decide: - what is critical - what to remove - what to change - what risk is acceptable So the future is not AI vs humans. It is: 👉 AI + strong engineering judgement That is what we are building towards at bitsIO Inc.. #bitsIO #splunk #cisco

This is where we are today 👇 Top-tier across all ComputeSDK sandbox benchmark categories. What matters more: consistent performance across workloads — not just spikes on a single metric. Nice validation for the kind of infrastructure we’ve been building for agents. https://lnkd.in/gM7GVvw6 #Tensorlake #Sandboxes #AiAgents #AiInfra
