We often picture leaders as the ones center stage: charismatic, loud, visionary. But what about those who lead from behind the scenes? Think of a stage performance. The spotlight is on the star, but it’s the director offstage who sees the whole picture. They anticipate what could go wrong, prepare the team, and make space for others to shine. And this behind-the-scene leadership is in every sector, at every level of an organization. In a recent leadership workshop, when we explored this topic, it resonated deeply. People began naming those who don’t always speak, but whose steady presence makes others feel safe. They are called "Trusted anchors", "those who got you back". What surprised people most was that many of the role models didn’t see themselves as leaders. They were surprised to learn how much others look to them. 🌟 So if you’re one of those behind-the-scenes leaders, this is your reminder: your leadership matters. These leaders rarely seek attention. But noticing them changes how we see leadership. And maybe, how we see ourselves. #Leadership #QuietLeadership #AuthenticLeadership

Leadership is not about titles or positions. It’s about the ability to listen, to serve, and to bring out the best in others. Great leaders don’t just give directions; they give people the confidence to find their own way. 💡 True leadership is influence, not control. #Leadership #Inspiration #PeopleFirst #LeadWithImpact What’s one quality you admire most in a leader? For me, it's the ability to grow people, to make them better versions of themselves and build better leaders out of them.

"Leadership doesn’t start with a business card—it starts with who you are when no one’s watching." Some of the most influential leaders I’ve worked with never had the “right” title. And some of the most senior people in the room were drifting, disconnected from their purpose, running on empty. The truth is, titles can give you authority, but they can’t give you clarity. That comes from alignment. From knowing who you are, what you stand for, and how you show up. As I explore in "When Leaders Are Lost", leadership is formed in identity long before it shows up in performance. It’s time to flip the script on positional leadership. Your influence isn’t defined by your title. It’s defined by your alignment. #IdentityDrivenLeadership #LeadWithAlignment #WhenLeadersAreLost #LCPGlobal #WholeOfLifeLeadership #LeadershipDevelopment

Not all leaders are loud. Some of the best leaders I’ve known didn’t dominate the room. They didn’t need to shout, or constantly remind everyone of their title. Instead, they listened. They noticed the small details. They made space for others to shine. This is what I call quiet leadership. In a world that often rewards charisma and volume, quiet leadership reminds us that strength can also look like empathy, patience, and consistency. It’s the kind of leadership that builds trust, not fear. That guides, rather than pushes. That leads by example, not by ego. And the impact? Lasting. Because people don’t just remember what you said. They remember how you made them feel. Do you think the workplace is ready to value quiet leaders as much as the loud ones? #Leadership #QuietLeadership #FutureOfWork #Empathy

The best leaders don’t react faster. They pause better. In a world that rewards speed, restraint has become a competitive advantage. Because most leadership mistakes don’t come from a lack of action - they come from rushed action. You don’t earn trust by being the first to speak. You earn it by being the one who still thinks clearly when others are panicking. The most effective leaders share the same habit: 🔍 They buy time before making big calls. 🔍 They listen longer than their ego wants to. 🔍 They move fast only after they’ve earned clarity. Calm is not indecision. It’s control. And in leadership, control is what separates reaction from judgement. 👉 Where have you seen restraint make the biggest difference in leadership? #Leadership #CEOReflection #ExecutiveJudgement #StrategicDiscipline #CalmUnderPressure #DecisionMaking #OrganisationalPerformance

Leadership does not require a spotlight. Some of the best leaders I’ve met never stood at a podium or made a speech. They didn’t crave attention or chase titles. They simply showed up every day, steady and reliable, focused on the people and the mission. You can usually spot these leaders by how others talk about them. Their teams trust them. Their peers respect them. Their results speak louder than any self-promotion ever could. Real leadership isn’t about being seen. It’s about being present. It’s listening before speaking. It’s standing beside your people when things get tough and giving them the credit when things go well. The best leaders know that the goal is not to outshine others but to help others shine. When they win, you win. When the team grows stronger, the mission moves forward. Leadership without a spotlight may not make headlines, but it builds something far more valuable: trust, loyalty, and lasting impact. #Leadership #ServantLeadership #AuthenticLeadership #Teamwork #Humility #Integrity

Are you leading from a place of empowerment or entitlement? Many leaders today operate as if those they lead owe them something, or avoid taking responsibility for their decisions. Three traits of entitled leaders include feeling the world owes them, wanting something for nothing, and blaming others. Empowered leaders, however, are intentional, understand that growth happens beneath the surface before it's visible, and are willing to pay the cost of winning. Focus on building a strong foundation and taking decisive action. #leadership #empowerment #accountability #growthmindset

The hardest truth in leadership? It’s not your team that needs to change. It’s you. We love to say, “My employees need to improve.” But the most effective leaders I’ve met all share one thing in common: They start with self-awareness, not blame. Because leadership isn’t about pointing fingers—it’s about holding mirrors. When things go wrong, great leaders don’t ask, “Who messed this up?” They ask, “What’s my role in this?” As Andrew Geesbreght, M.A., founder of Praxis Leadership, said on The Tyler Dickerhoof Show: “When leaders take personal responsibility, everyone rises.” Accountability isn’t weakness. It’s the foundation of trust, growth, and culture. When you embody it, you give your team permission to do the same. That’s when transformation begins. 🎙️ Watch the full conversation with Andrew Geesbreght on The Tyler Dickerhoof Show. #Leadership #Accountability #SelfLeadership #TylerDickerhoofShow #AndrewGeesbreght #LeadershipMindset #Culture #EmotionalIntelligence #LeadershipGrowth #Ownership #WorkplaceCulture
