𝗔 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 Much of the world is speaking about 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘆. But when I observe the Middle East today, I see something different. 𝙄 𝙨𝙚𝙚 𝙖 𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚. While global markets slow decisions and investors grow cautious, countries across the Gulf are doing the opposite. They are investing in infrastructure, accelerating technology adoption, and building long-term economic strategies. Airports, ports, logistics corridors, AI initiatives, and smart cities are not just plans. They are being built at scale. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽. For boardrooms and global leaders, the real question is not whether the world is uncertain. Uncertainty has always existed. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥, 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙞��𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨. From where I stand, the Middle East is showing that progress does not stop because of global noise. In many ways, it becomes more focused. Regions that continue building during uncertain times often become the ones that shape the next decade. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀.

𝗔 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝘄𝗿𝗮𝗽-𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮. It was an energising and forward-thinking few days engaging with leaders from across Africa and the global employment community on the future of work, digital transformation, and the accelerating impact of AI in our organisations.
