We were proud to be part of the ACEC Georgia Engineering Awards this past week and to see the Global Gateway Connector Bridge & Trail project recognized with an Honor Award alongside the City of College Park Georgia and our partners, STV. The 200-foot bridge and trail connection is transforming one of Atlanta’s busiest corridors with a safe, ADA-accessible connection over Camp Creek Parkway. Linking downtown College Park, MARTA, the Georgia International Convention Center, the ATL SkyTrain, and the city’s growing trail network, this gateway is both critical infrastructure and a bold new community landmark. We are thankful for the opportunity to help build a safer, stronger, and more connected College Park. Special thanks to Mayor Bianca Motley Broom for her support of this impactful project, and to our outstanding project team: STV, ECS, Pentagon 540, VHB, and Womack and Associates. And a big congratulations to Bill Womack, our electrical engineer for the bridge project, on also receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award that evening. #StratusTeam #BetterPlansBetterPlaces
So grateful to have had this project be a part of my life for the last 10 years. It has been a pleasure working with you all and building lasting relationships. Let’s go build another one together!
Congratulations to the entire team on this well-deserved recognition. XNDT was proud to support this impactful project by providing NDT services through ECS. It’s great to see infrastructure that improves safety, accessibility, and connectivity for the College Park community.
What a wonderful project and very well deserved!
We're proud to have helped bring this transformative project to life!
