Internal visibility is key. The most important work in engineering and architecture firms is the least visible. It's not the drawings, site visits, or final deliverables. The work that actually holds everything together happens behind the scenes. Coordination, documentation, and internal communication. The conversations that clarify scope before it creeps up on you. The notes that explain why a decision was made. The updates that keep everyone aligned without needing another meeting. It's not flashy work. But it's the difference between projects that run smoothly and a project that slowly drifts off course. Most firms don't struggle because they lack talent. They struggle because the critical work isn't visible enough to manage it. If you can't see it, you can't track it. If you can't track it, you can't improve it. And that's where things start to break down. #Visibility #Engineering #Architecture #Stackd
