Fourteen years in Texas — and wow, have we taken bold steps toward an even bigger future. I can confidently say: This is a great place to be at the moment! And an even greater place to build the future. Momentum, collaboration, and big-picture thinking were on full display at this year’s Dallas Regional Chamber Annual Meeting, presented by Hillwood. Business and community leaders gathered to hear Ross Perot Jr’s perspective on visionary investments shaping the region — and to officially welcome Brad Cheves as the DRC’s new President & CEO, signaling strong leadership for the next chapter. Dale Petroskey is a legend and I’m excited to see what’s next! But here’s the statistic that truly resonates: DFW has led the nation in total job growth over the past five years — adding more jobs than any other U.S. metro area. That’s not incremental progress. That’s sustained economic momentum at scale. CMP was proud to be in attendance — and proud to be part of this ecosystem. Because what makes the region exceptional isn’t just growth. It’s the alignment between business, civic leadership, and community vision.
