🔎 Most learning programs fail before they even start. Because trying to fix engagement without stakeholder alignment is like pouring water into a bucket full of holes. 🪣 No matter how creative your content or engaging your activities, if leaders aren’t bought in, your efforts leak away - leaving learners disengaged and your program undervalued. Here’s the truth. Even the best learning designs fall flat without stakeholder alignment. Imagine this: - Your training is the water. - Your bucket is the organization. - Stakeholder buy-in is the sealant that keeps the water where it needs to be — turning drips of effort into real impact. In The L&D Influence Playbook, I’ll share concrete ways to build trust, align decision-makers, and turn resistance into support — so your learning programs actually drive change. 📎 Want all the details? https://lnkd.in/gSeCrn4T 🎟️ Limited early bird seats – don’t miss out! https://lnkd.in/gV48RcPB
I'd take it a step further. Without leadership buy-in, you will not even "fill the seats" of your beautifully designed training 💁🏻♀️
So true 🎯stakeholder involvement shouldn’t come at the end, but from the very beginning. Think IKEA effect: when they help build it, they’re far more invested in the result.
I can’t stress and geek out about this enough!
Spot on Srishti Sehgal. I’ve experienced too that the successful impact is when business leaders are involved before the learning begins especially as visible sponsors during the journey. Even a 10-minute role in kickoff or storytelling mid-way can shift the energy. If the system isn’t ready, no design sticks. Loved this reminder!
Srishti Sehgal, that's exactly what Caner Akova will bring on the https://www.bedrijfsopleidingen.be/stimulearning/5_event.asp oct 23th in Brussels. I think you will have a lot to talk about at our event, including at the pre-conference dinner on Oct. 22, 2025.
