Are you being asked to bring AI into your animatic workflow? We are — and we’ve built a case study to show what that actually looks like. At Speedboards.ca, we integrate AI into our 2D animatics to elevate motion quality while reducing production time and costs by ~20%. The result: higher-fidelity animation for focus group testing, without slowing down the process. In the link, you’ll see a side-by-side: AI-enhanced animatic vs. the original animatic spot. If you’re navigating AI mandates or looking to stretch value earlier in the pipeline, let’s connect. Happy to walk you through the workflow and compare notes. 🚀 Topaz Labs just rolled out its Precision Update ... ✅ Starlight Precise 2.5 for more natural GenAI video (faces, textures, text) ✅ Gaia 2 for animation with better frame consistency ✅ Faster local models like Starlight Fast 2 ✅ New image tools like True Resolution Detection Topaz isn’t trying to generate content. It’s trying to fix it. Cleaning artifacts, restoring detail, keeping things consistent, that’s where a lot of the final quality comes from. 📌 Follow me for more AI news! #AI #AIVideo #TopazLabs #AINews

Introducing MotionXAI - a new series where we break down how we combine motion design with AI tools to bring ideas to life. 🤖✨ This time: a breakdown from a recent TV spot we wrapped up for a yogurt brand. We used Weavy from start to finish - from creating 3D models of the spoon, fruits, and yogurt, to using the motion graphic reference we animated in After Effects inside the Weavy platform to help us achieve the final animation. Then we used Nano Banana to enhance lighting, textures, and the overall look, and combined the motion ref with the final visuals in Luma Modify to bring everything to life. More breakdowns coming soon. 🚀 #MotionDesign #AI #MotionXAI #BehindTheScenes #CreativeWorkflow #NanoBanana #Weavy

You know those slick, professional animations in apps like Duolingo and Airbnb? What if you could generate them with just a single sentence? Meet OmniLottie, a groundbreaking open-source AI model that generates scalable vector animations directly from text, images, and videos. Historically, AI has struggled to generate Lottie animations because the raw JSON files are packed with messy "structural boilerplate" that confuses the models. OmniLottie solves this by using the Qwen 2.5 vision-language model to flatten and compress this messy code into clean, AI-readable tokens. Here is what it can do: Text-to-Animation: Turn a simple text description into a fully animated character. Image-to-Animation: Use a static image alongside text as "director's notes" to bring the picture to life. Video-to-Animation: Automatically rotoscope a video clip, converting human motion into a lightweight, scalable Lottie file. This democratizes animation, allowing developers to get the magic of AI without the heavy performance cost of video files. If you could animate anything with a single sentence, what would you create? Let me know below! 👇 #OmniLottie #AIAnimation #SoftwareDevelopment #OpenSourceAI #WebDesign https://lnkd.in/gFaEJXMb

Advice please. Beyond Envato, LTX.studio, and Gemini what are some good AI video generation tools that work well with animations, where you can use a hand-drawn piece for the starting frame? From someone who has used them to do this kind of work. TIA. (Comment pls. Email or PM is OK if you want to tell me what not to use...)

Tried creating a cinematic product animation for a blender using AI + motion design. Focused on: • Smooth rotations • Internal parts visualization • Realistic liquid motion The idea was to make a normal product look premium and engaging. This is part of my learning and exploration in AI-based content creation. Tools used: AI tools, After Effects, assets from Freepik Would love your feedback!

[02 / 𝘯] More testing on micro-animations as a skill file in Claude Thought I’d share another small detail that made a interesting difference 👇 I’ve been comparing two dropdown animations. Nothing flash. Same component, same timing — but one key difference: • Version A scales from the center • Version B is anchored from the top-left At first glance, it’s subtle. Almost invisible. But once you notice it, it’s hard to unsee. The top-left anchored version feels more natural — it aligns with how we expect elements to expand in a structured layout. The motion has direction, context, and intention. (Also, yes the button isn't properly wrapping - but it'll likely be even more obvious if the button fitted the content more) The centered animation, on the other hand, feels slightly detached — like it’s floating rather than emerging. It’s a reminder that micro-interactions aren’t just polish — they shape how intuitive an interface feels without you even knowing. Neat. Curious what y'all think: Which one feels better to you; center or top-left anchored? #ai #prototyping #productdesign

What if creating product animations didn’t take days of rendering and editing, but just a few minutes? This was a small experiment I made using Kling multi-shot, where I turned a static shoe image into a short cinematic animation with subtle fabric movement and macro product details. It’s fascinating to see how AI is starting to change the way designers prototype and visualize ideas. I’d also like to thank VANSH GUPTA and Himanshu sharma for guiding me through the AI workflows, and Anuj Singh for sharing some great creative ideas that helped shape this experiment. Looking forward to experimenting more and seeing where these tools can take creative work next.
