Even if your campus is merely 10 minutes away, you’re always invited to have fun in our Setel Office 😆 Fortunately for us, to brighten the end of our April, Universiti Malaya’s Data Analytics Club (UMDAC) did exactly that just this Tuesday. Members of UMDAC came to visit the Setel Office and hear about Setel and careers in Data directly from one of our experts: Darveen Vijayan. Darveen shared about ‘The Quest for Signal: Navigating The Data Maze for Smarter Decisions’ and safe to say that it caught everyone’s attention. Our Talent Team representative, Nurul Farhanah (Nunu) then sat down with him for an insightful fireside chat focusing mainly on ways to build a solid career journey in tech and data, and all the methods he used to master what he does now—from binge-watching tutorials while commuting to work and getting certified for all the tools he found powerful. Of course, no visit to the Setel Office is complete without the student-approved fried chicken sandwiches, our Setel Career Kits (yes, the blue bags with all our merch!), and a tour of the office.
