AI Supports Teachers in the Classroom

This title was summarized by AI from the post below.

Great example from Russell Smart of what AI should look like in the classroom: supporting teachers, not replacing them. If you’re exploring AI in your school, this is the kind of practical, teacher-centered use case worth paying attention to. 👏 #SeesawAI #AIinEducation #AITeacherTools

As educators and leaders, we’re always looking for ways to deepen student engagement and streamline the planning process without sacrificing creativity or intentionality. This week, to support our Distance Learning, I have been exploring how Seesaw AI can transform a simple idea into a powerful learning experience, and the results were impressive. I started with two things I already had on hand: a carefully selected YouTube video and reading comprehension activity I had planned to use. With just a few prompts, Seesaw AI helped me merge these resources into an interactive, student-friendly lesson complete with visuals, prompts, and opportunities for reflection. The platform didn’t replace my planning; it enhanced it, allowing me to focus more on learning outcomes and student needs. Here’s the activity if you’d like to take a look: https://lnkd.in/ey2a-9Gr It is by no means perfect, but it gave me a great starting point to personalise it further. As schools continue to explore the role of AI in teaching and learning, tools like Seesaw offer a practical, teacher-centred way to enhance instruction while keeping educators at the heart of the process. #EdTech #EducationalTechnology #TeachingWithTech #DigitalLearning #EdTechTools #Seesaw #SeesawAI #PrimaryEducation #InstructionalDesign #StudentEngagement Seesaw Learning
