We've been asking the wrong question about AI. Will it replace humans? This fear has paralyzed workforces, frozen leaders, and kept too many organizations focused on the wrong problem. But this has never been about replacement. It has always been about effectiveness. AI can deliver speed, scale, and capability we have never seen before. But capability alone does not move a business forward. It takes people to turn it into results. The leaders who will win the next decade are not the ones with the best tools. They are the ones investing in their people right now. This is the leadership responsibility in front of us: Be clear about what is changing in the work and what is not.  Be honest with your workforce about where they stand and where they need to grow.  Invest in reskilling at the scale of the disruption.
