For those of you who have seen my postings here or in AW&ST, you'll have noticed my comments regarding the 'elephant in the room' regarding lack of FAA/EASA Type Certification for COMAC's products. Make no mistake, it's coming and the day it happens will be historically significant in ending the existing duopoly. Competition is good for everyone. Of course, obtaining those TCs only opens the door to global sales, but the aircraft will have to compete as everyone else on fuel efficiency, costs per flight hour, logistical support, reliability etc.
