Leadership calls for accountability...
And, one way leaders, or even we (as we all are leaders in a way or another), can do is through Leading by Example.
You want your teams to trust you...
You trust them first!
We study leadership for the same reason a parent studies parenting—so that those in our care will be the beneficiaries of our learning.

True leadership isn’t about titles, power, or being the loudest voice in the room.
True leadership is servant leadership.
It’s choosing to serve before being served.
It’s valuing people for who they are, not just what they produce.
It’s seeing the human being behind the role, the title, or the task.
A real leader lifts others up.
They listen before they speak.
They build trust, create safety, and invest in the growth of their people.
Because when people feel seen, valued, and respected, they don’t just work harder they thrive.
Leadership isn’t about standing above others.
It’s about standing with them.
Serve your people well, and they’ll never forget the leader who saw them for more than just what they do. 🌱 #GirlsClubWM

As a mom, I often feel that the journey of an emotionally regulated parent is very similar to that of a heart-centered leader, down to the coaching conversations and the lessons learned analysis 😅 What's your take?

Leadership is not just about holding a position or managing people. True leadership begins when you connect deeply with your purpose as the reason behind what you do and the impact you aspire to create.

The ultimate purpose… “serve those who serve others”? You, me, we might not be there now - but moving in that direction with intent is already fulfilling. Respect to Simon Sinek for his beliefs, art of phrasing and delivering - every time again. I use the original why-what-how principle frequently.
What are some of your guiding principles - in work and life? Curious 👀 to learn

Leadership is not about having all the answers.
It’s about creating an environment where people feel supported, trusted, and able to do their best work.

To serve those who serve others 💯
I would also add "To teach others to serve." But perhaps that is all part and parcel of being of service?
How you demonstrate being of service; how others see you in service. And how others feel after being served by you directly or indirectly tells them a lot about what kind of leader, or parent, you are.

"OK, I own my own business ... Yay. But now you have to lead poeple".
This is a great short from Simon Sinek, which talks very succinctly to the challenges of founders on a growth path.
You know how to manage a business, but knowing how to manage people - that is a different ball game. And one that deserves its own status as a project.
