Je vous accompagne pour valoriser et protéger vos innovations et créations
1dI’ve generally been a satisfied Revolut customer and appreciate the innovation they bring to banking. However, I feel compelled to share a recent experience that might help others manage their expectations—especially when it comes to travel insurance. Following a 20-hour baggage delay, I submitted a claim for basic essentials I had to buy: toothpaste, deodorant, and underwear. The claim was rejected by XCover (Cover Genius) (the third-party insurance partner), on the basis that these are not considered “essential items.” I suppose at Revolut and XCover (Cover Genius), one can travel without brushing teeth, freshening up, or changing clothes…? While I’m still a fan of Revolut’s core services, it’s important to be aware that when issues arise with insurance, Revolut steps aside entirely, leaving customers to deal with an opaque third-party process. Not exactly the level of support I had hoped for. Just a friendly heads-up for fellow travelers who may rely on Revolut’s coverage.
