Beer, spirits and RTDs posted gains in mid-January — but wine once again weighed on total beverage-alcohol growth. 📊🍺🍸 New Circana weekly scans show beer (+0.5%), spirits (+3.4%) and RTDs (+8.1%) all grew year-over-year in the week ending January 18, even as total bev-alc dollar sales slipped slightly and wine declined more than 5%. Non-alcoholic beer surged during Dry January, while premixed cocktails powered outsized RTD growth and brands like Modelo, Michelob, White Claw and BuzzBallz posted notable gains. Circana’s first 2026 scans show bev‑alc off‑premise dollar sales up 5.5% YoY, signaling a strong start. 📈 All three categories advanced—beer, wine and spirits—while RTDs jumped 13.6% to about $210M, despite the expected post‑Christmas pullback versus the prior week.
