The new Quantum Computing Advisory Board (Q-CAB) has been launched to provide independent, platform-agnostic advice to the European Commission at a crucial moment for quantum computing in Europe.

🇪🇺 E4 Computer Engineering enters QTAG We are proud to announce that our CSO Daniele Gregori has been elected representative within the Quantum Technologies Advisory Group (QTAG), the advisory group that supports EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) in defining the Multi Annual Strategic Plan (MASP) and the Quantum Europe Strategy roadmap. Daniele Gregori has been elected to this role by ETP4HPC - European Technology Platform for HPC, the European Technology Platform for High Performance Computing. The QTAG operates upstream of European decision-making processes: it is the table where the technical evolution of quantum is translated into strategic directions, performance evaluation criteria and reference architectures for continental financing programmes. Being part of this table means making a real contribution to the direction that Europe will take in the global quantum race. ⚛️ For E4, which has always been committed to high-performance HPC infrastructure, this is a natural extension of our mission: to contribute to the choices that will determine Europe's quantum infrastructure in the coming years. The researchers added a new mechanism to the L4Re microkernel operating system. It allows the system to control and fairly distribute computer resources, such as processing time and memory, between different applications. Unlike older systems that mainly limit only computing time, this approach is more general and flexible.
