Food pests and invasive species can destroy up to 40% of global crops. Agri-tech currently helps monitor pests, but edge #AI will monitor AND deploy solutions before a swarm can spread across entire fields.

This is exactly why I'm building The CORE League. We're moving student robotics away from simple 'timed' movements and toward the 'Edge AI' Qualcomm is describing here. If we want the next generation to solve global crop destruction, they need to learn how to deploy NPU-driven solutions on-device, not just in the cloud. My goal with CORE is to make this 'Monitor & Deploy' logic the standard for every student engineer. — Adrit, Student Founder (Volunteer)

Interesting use of edge AI in agriculture. Preventing pest outbreaks before they spread could be a real game changer for global food security.

On-device AI for early detection is a game changer. Reducing latency can mean saving entire harvests.

Indeed a great technology and Interesting. Hopefully usage of pesticides not required (can reduce drastically?).

What an amazing AI influence is! Will benefit relavant farm worker's huge workloading.
