Introducing our new partner BBI Services. Together, we are launching Digital Performance Hubs, and a new way for construction teams to work in the modern world. Let’s be honest… the traditional project room only works if everyone’s in it. But your teams aren’t. They’re on site. In head office. On the road. At home. Digital Performance Hubs bring real-time project data, hybrid collaboration and proven performance routines together in one connected space, without forcing teams to relearn how they work. BBI bring the construction performance expertise. We bring the hybrid firepower. If you’re rethinking your project spaces, let’s talk. What if collaboration across city departments could happen in real time? Major development plans often require coordination across multiple departments. Transportation. Land use. Climate. Infrastructure. Finance. Each operates within its own structure and decision framework. Traditionally, a focused set of scenarios is defined early and reviewed in sequence across departments. This structured approach allows for careful consideration, detailed feedback, and thoughtful refinement, ensuring that adjustments are well-informed and stakeholder alignment is built throughout the process. What if stakeholders could explore dozens of scenarios together in one interactive session? With the Scenexus platform, cross-department teams can work simultaneously around a shared digital model on a touch table. Because the platform delivers instant cross-domain impact analysis, often with results within minutes, teams can iterate at the speed of decision-making. Instead of limiting themselves to three or four predefined options, they can test 40, 50, or even hundreds of variations in a single day. It becomes collaborative, transparent, and data-driven. → Provide a holistic view across land use, mobility, climate, and infrastructure domains → Enable interactive scenario exploration in real time with all stakeholders present → Accelerate alignment and achieve first-time-right decisions This approach fundamentally changes how cities make decisions. Silos are reduced. Stakeholder buy-in increases. Planning becomes both faster and more rigorous. If you are working on a multi-year development plan and want to dramatically accelerate collaboration and clarity, my team Jeroen Borst, Bart Vuijk, Walter Lohman and I are ready to help. #StakeholderEngagement #UrbanPlanning #Collaboration #CityDevelopment #SmartCities #DigitalTwin

Why offsite magic fails within 2 weeks. We used to believe that getting the leadership team out of the office was the catalyst for transformation. We would spend two days in a conference room covering walls with sticky notes and feeling a surge of alignment that seemed unbreakable. Then we would return to the office and the whirlwind of daily operations would strip that momentum away within forty-eight hours. The mistake was assuming that the intensity of the event could survive without a mechanical transmission system to carry it. High-energy alignment is a fragile state that decays rapidly when it hits the friction of routine work. You cannot transport the breakthroughs from an offsite into the business without changing the operating rhythm that governs the business. We stopped treating offsites as the solution and started treating them as the design phase for the weekly cadence. The goal isn't to leave with a feeling of unity but to leave with a modified meeting architecture that forces the new priorities to surface every single week. Structure protects intention from the erosion of daily noise. If the insight doesn't change the agenda of your Tuesday meeting, it didn't actually happen. This hits close to home. I’ve seen leadership teams walk out of a two-day offsite energized, aligned, and convinced that “this time is different.” The flip charts look great. The priorities feel clear. The conversations are honest. Then Monday happens. By the following week, the same issues resurface. The same firefighting returns. And the commitments made in that conference room quietly compete with the urgent demands of the business—and lose. The problem isn’t the offsite. It’s what happens after. An offsite is not a transformation tool. It’s a design lab. If you don’t redesign how the business runs every week, the business will default back to its old habits. I’ve worked with teams that spent significant time and money on strategy sessions, only to realize nothing changed because: - The weekly meeting agenda stayed the same - The scorecard didn’t reflect the new priorities - Functional leaders didn’t cascade the message - There was no mechanism to inspect and reinforce decisions - Energy without structure evaporates. Clarity without cadence fades. Alignment without accountability drifts. The real work begins when you return to the office. That’s where you earn the right to call the offsite a success. If the breakthrough doesn’t show up in your weekly meeting rhythm, your metrics, and your individual priorities, it was just a good conversation. Offsites should end with a redesigned operating cadence: - What must now be discussed every week? - What metric will prove we are serious? - What behaviors must leaders model immediately? - How will this cascade to every team? - Structure protects intention from daily noise. If you want alignment to last longer than two weeks, build it into the rhythm of the business. Curious how others have made their offsites stick—what’s worked for you?

Most delays in projects don’t happen on-site. They happen in the schedule. I just built a scheduling dashboard workflow on Monday.com for an architectural company. Not because they weren’t working hard. But because timelines were living in too many places. When deadlines sit in inboxes, memory, and scattered boards, progress slows quietly. So we built a structure that shows: – What stage each project is in – Who owns what – What’s due next – What’s at risk Nothing dramatic. Just visibility. Because when teams can see the work clearly, coordination improves without more meetings. This is the part of operations most people don’t notice. But it’s what keeps projects moving. #operationsmanagement #mondaydotcom #workflowdesign #projectcoordination #virtualassistantservices #businesssystems

If you’re seriously evaluating flex, having a structured way to run the numbers matters. This model and walkthrough provide a thoughtful framework to help landlords and operators assess feasibility with more clarity.
