35 new patients a month. That's the number that separates practices that are treading water from practices that are actually building momentum. We analyzed 8,500+ practices and found a clear inflection point. Below 35/month, average growth sits around 4.5%. Cross that threshold and it starts climbing fast. Practices bringing in 75+ new patients a month are growing at 9%. That's nearly double the rate. New patient volume isn't just a marketing metric. It's one of the strongest signals of where a practice is actually headed. See where your numbers stand. Full benchmarks in the 2026 Dental Industry Outlook Deep Dive. Link in the comments.
