It’s easy to focus on words. But a lot of what matters is underneath that: Tone, timing, and even what someone avoids saying. In your next conversation take note of what people aren’t saying while they’re speaking. How does that impact your interpretation? Now, think about this when you head back to the office tomorrow and be mindful of what you’re saying when you’re not actually saying anything.

Unpopular opinion? You need a perfect voice to start voice over. I thought I needed to tweak my voice, fake my pitch, and sound a certain way before I could even begin. The truth is you start with the voice you have. The mastery, the pitch control, the character voices those come with practice, consistency and time. Nobody wakes up with a professional voice over voice. They build it. Also voice over is not just talking. I've seen people say it's easy, that it's simply speaking into a microphone. But the techniques, the professionalism, the script interpretation, the knowledge behind it, it's no joke. So if you've been waiting until your voice sounds "ready" stop waiting. Start where you are. 🎤 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍 𝒊𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒂 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒚 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒔. It’s not the slides. It’s not the script. It’s not even the story. It’s the moment the audience thinks… “Wow. They get me.” That’s the difference between a good speaker… and one people remember. Here’s a powerful shift: 👉 Stop trying to impress your audience 👉 Start trying to understand them Before you step on stage, ask: What are they worried about? What are they hoping for? What do they need to hear… not just what do I want to say? Because when your audience feels seen… they lean in. they trust you. they take action. And that’s when your message actually lands. Speak to be understood. Not just heard. #ProfessionalSpeaking #AudienceConnection #SpeakWithImpact

Filler words often go unnoticed by the speaker but not by the listener. They dilute clarity and can make your message sound less confident and less precise than it actually is. Awareness is the first step. Record yourself for a minute or two and listen back. When you hear the pattern, you can begin to change it. 🎤 Small adjustments create big shifts in how you’re heard. #patrickmunoz #voicecoach #speechcoach #findyourvoice #communicationtips #publicspeaking #confidence #clarity

You don’t remember speakers for everything they say. You remember how they made you feel. That’s the difference. A lot of people focus on the script, the slides, the delivery… but the real connection happens when people see themselves in what you’re saying. That’s what stays with them. That’s why it’s never just about speaking, it’s about how you show up and what people walk away with after. If you’re working on your voice, your message, or how you connect with people, this is the part that matters. Because people might forget the words… but they won’t forget the feeling. 🤝

Listening is waiting for your turn to speak. Receiving is waiting for the moment to show you. Sometimes the cat gets your tongue and all you can do is sit with awe in your mouth, jaw on the floor, and eyes that empathize. That's not silence. That's receiving.
